I suggest you find a better school setting for your child. When your told by the school psychologist that your child shouldn't tattle when they are bullying to avoid being picked on, that is an instant red flag they do not have bullying under control in their school.

Do not sent your child to this school! There aggressive tactics just make it worse for your child. This school is run more like the military than a therapeutic school.

The administrators, teachers, counselors, et al., are highly qualified and go above and beyond for their students and families. Their educational and therapeutic approaches align to promote optimal student school performance and mindset. Highly recommend this school!

Chancellor Academy doesn't help succeed the educational value. Mostly by watching movies and playing games in class most of the day, the teachers don't really push the students to learn and do classwork. Principal mostly yelling down the hallways. I do not recommend this school.

Did not see the therapeutic value of the school at all. Rather than dealing with issues that occurred, suspension was given. Not sure what the educational value was as work was never sent home. My child complained about things being too easy and at times would refuse to participate. Was told conflicting information by different members of the administration. Was also told out and out lies about things going on and was not apologized to when I brought it to their attention. There are two co-prinicipals....a front man who seems great and another who speaks at you not to you. Pulled my child after 2.5 months in the school

Chancellor Academy exceeds the "excellent" rating as the teachers, counselors, staff, and director and principal all work together to meet the unique needs of all their students. My son has graduated from there and if it was not for their selfless compassion and diligence in helping their students to be "over comers and achievers " my son would have had a very different outcome in life ,due to the fact that other schools did not take the time to understand nor tailor a comprehensive education plan such as they did at Chancellor Academy. This is a EXCELLENT school and growing place for a child to achieve life goals with self confidence and encouragement from their educators to help them along their journey.

I didn't learn much at chancellor academy. students weren't pushed very little to do school/class work. there have been a lot of class periods where we'd just play games, or watch movies. going to chancellor was like being in a day dream, when i should have been preparing for college. i passed classes that i didn't complete more than two assignments for(including class assignments, homework, projects, etc.). the staff was great when i needed emotional support and they are great people, but the school has little academic structure.. it's very sad.

Now that the previous owner, RS, has left; perhaps students, staff, and parents will be treated better.
