When I was a student at this school, I was bullied horribly by the other students and nothing was ever done about. The teachers ignored the problem and the principal didn't do anything about over fear of upsetting the tuition-paying parents.

I taught at SS. Peter and Paul in the late 70's. I had a college degree and taught 5th grade for 4 years. I was the first teacher to have parent volunteers in the classroom. They were very helpful and knowledgeable and always willing to do whatever was asked of them. Most of my students reading levels went up at least two year levels. I don't know how things were after I left, but while I was there, SS. P&P was a phenomenal school opened to new ideas as well as to continuing traditions. It was a school to be proud of and it hurt to see how someone thought it wasn't. Sr. Damien was our principal. How easy to forget the good and how easy it is to criticize. I am ready to retire now but my thoughts and memories of the school and the people there are very happy and loving ones.
