Ever since the new principal has come to Westwood, the entire atmosphere has changed for the better! You see it in the kids, staff and even a lot of parents!

My foster child transferred from out of state. Maybe most of Pittsburgh Public schools are like this but I find it hard to believe they would all be so bad!? She use to love school, but now she hates it. It's such a struggle to get her moving and when she gets home shes in a horrible mood. She is being bullied a lot here by a group of girls. They even got physical with her. Nothing is really being done about it that is lasting. She has a headache most days too when she gets home from all the yelling in the class rooms by both the students and the teachers. I'm sure the teachers are over whelmed by the chaos. It does sound like a nut house, and I'm sure they get all kinds, but they do seem rather removed and cold. Has it really resorted to being mean and yelling at every kid like they are trying to pull something over on you? When my husband and I are ready to have kids we will definitely save for a private school, but in this case we are not financially able to send my niece at this time. Is there a way to switch to another public school? Any advise would be greatly appreciated!
