This school has rude students, rude teachers, rude staff, is broken like literally everywhere and is only now rebuilding like a quarter of it, and overall sucks. Teachers barely motivate students, they don't do much about bullying, and in modern times there is a lot of that. You won't fit in, you won't like the people there and you'll barely learn the bare minimum and probably not do so well in further education with the average grades people get here.

This school is really good there are always ups and downs in this school but which school doesn't and the teachers are nice and helpful and there are after-school programs for people who can't go home after school.

it is actually a great school. yes they have some ups and downs but what school doesn't ? most of the teachers are very supported. all most all of the electives there are very encouraging and fun to do.

Horrible cleaning; okay education. I feel like this is just an okay school. Counselors only care about making students “get along” but they’re just making it worse. This school is also very old and the only new things are the computers. The bathrooms are horrible. There is only 2 janitors. They shouldn’t even have electives, because they’re just pressure for students. Counselors encouraging students in social activities really makes this school useless. Instead of this counseling nonsense, they should hire more janitors and maintenance! This school is okay in homework though, because it’s not so much pressure. Math teachers are the strictest teachers. Overall, this school is okay.

I have found, in all of the years my children have been in school, that any support I want or need for my kids requires me to put the effort forward first. Once I have done so, I have never felt alone or unheard. This school is no exception. We came to the school with some challenges, and there has been more support than I could ever hope for. There are 1 or 2 teachers who are definitely apathetic but the overall experience outweighs those teachers.

Poor implementation of school rules and expectations as students who are frequent violators receive no consequences. Students behavior is worst than ever.

The leadership of this school and district is lost. Children who already lack discipline at home are not disciplined at school. The school doesn't enforce or uphold their own rules. There are groups of kids walking the halls during class while school employees just sit in the office on Facebook and do nothing. Ridiculous amounts of money is wasted on supplies that can only be ordered from a specific company instead of where supplies are cheaper. Ridiculous amounts of money are wasted purchasing useless overpriced technology instead of getting what makes sense.

The school looks like a prison, is run down and in bad need of repair. Unused pipes sticking out of the wall, rusted barbed wire surrounds, walls throughout that looks like the inside of a bathroom. Principal is an alright person, but the principal's secretary, Nancy Logaburn is a relic of the dark ages. Rude, uncaring and generally mean spirited. If your child goes there it is likely they will learn only to survive, not thrive. 1/10; do not recommend.

I'am a mother of a 7th grader at Hillview Jr High. I ave had two older children graduate from Hillview also. One in college and have yet to have any problems with Hillview staff or my children having problems with other students. My child has been Honor roll since 6th grade and is also in leadership. There are problems in all schools and when i hear parents complain about the school i think WOW is it our school or our parents looking for someone to place the blame. We as parents are reponsible for our kids action if they are haveing problem whith grades or with kids in school take the time to help themout and ask for help. These are our kids we need to expect more from them because they all can achive thre best but we need to take the first step and show them what they are cappable of and demand respect for teachers and staff and fellow students. And they will achive .

I'm currently in 6th Grade in Hillview Jr.High, and I think it's Great! All of the teachers are fair, and the new principal,Mr.Molina,is doing a very good job running this school.I take advanced classes, and they are very nice, you don't feel like your a nerd when you take them, and in the other classes, you wouldn't feel like your not as smart as the others.I'm not a big fan of their organization ''system''......student-activity wise.On days where we have food from outside resturaunts, all the kids are pushing, and shoving, and it didnt really seem like the teachers/staff were trying to fix it,and they sold out very quick(but the next day they re-sold for those who weren't able to purchase anything). The dances are very fun,but they usually end at 4:30.I also don't really appreciate the STUDENT;S attitudes at school, they bully, talk very rude, and steal. But, the teachers are working on that, especially the bullying. :)
