Hurray for Principal Sotomayor, for Scrivner, for Rodriguez, for Bennett, for cafeteria ladies and the lady helping parents. Still need improvement with some tecniques used by certain people, yes, I agree secretary should work in some kindness skills and so the front lady, she needs to be more informed. We never know when she will be able to help us or say she doesnt know. The music director is the best, he is dedicated to those students and there always when we parents have questions. Other teacher should use some skills to communicate with parents as Mr Rodriguez does. I recognize lot of improvement in this school. I will recommend it if you have good communication with your child and is you are willing to deal with the not so profesional secretary in that school.

Isaac Middle School is exceptional! The positive and welcoming culture creates an environment where students feel valued and supported. The school maintains high academic standards, ensuring that every student is challenged and encouraged to reach their full potential. What truly sets IMS apart is its focus on the "whole child." Beyond academics, the school nurtures students' artistic, athletic, and social-emotional development. The diverse arts programs, competitive sports, and caring staff all contribute to a well-rounded, enriching experience. IMS is a place where students thrive in every aspect of their education. Highly recommended!

We came from a different city. This school didn’t have a sense in of “community”. I was consistently wondering how my child was doing. Parent teacher conferences were always difficult the teachers never actually set up dates and times with me. They would usually end up blowing up my phone when I was at another conference for one of my other children. They have shooting threats. They banned backpacks and sweaters. Never came home with homework. Or any completed work. My son would tell me a lot of kids tried fighting him and unfortunately he got into several fights. The little boys and girls were very disrespectful towards him and other students. He told me kids tried to force him into smoking and there were a lot of roomers that children were having sexual activities in the bathrooms. Also the kids would make fun of the special needs children. So sad if you ask me! I definitely wouldn’t recommend this school. This entire community needs to do better. Parents, teachers and students!

I went to this school 94-95 so Im very glad to have my son attend the same school. the academics/sports are good the teachers that my son has are great. However back then when I attended there was a high rate of gangs, fights and pre teen pregnancy, its pretty much the area and communities fault these issues arent new-parents need to be held accountable for some of the things their children bring onto a school campus as well its not the schools responsibilty to raise ur child. Overall the school is good it could use some improving though.
