I had a great experience at Catalina. I love to visit my favorite teachers when I can. They really helped to prepare me for High School.

My children have attended Catalina Ventura since Kindergarten, now in 4th and 5th grade, and their teachers have always gone above and beyond to meet their needs. The staff here treat all students like family and the students, for the most part do the same.

Catalina is an amazing school! By far one of the best schools in the district. The principal of the school is very positive. He can be seen throughout the campus interacting with the students and staff. He is very approachable and always is willing to listen and is very supportive of the parents, staff, and most of all students. The teachers are exceptional educators and people. Catalina teachers teach from the heart and always put the students first.

I have volunteered several times at Catalina Ventura. A finer school I have never been to. Upon your arrival, you as a parent or guest are greeted by the warm, thoughtful front office. They know every student and parent by their first name. The principal and Outreach Coordinator are the most dynamic duo I have ever met. The students are kind, thoughtful, and caring. This is the kind of family feeling the principal has established. Everyone is accepted, everyone is welcome. There is room at the table for your student. These teachers give all they have to students, it shows with their postitve connections they make with students and families. Catalina Ventura is the happiest, sunniest, most caring school in the valley.

This school is truly something special. All faculty members work together to educate the whole child. The staff leads by example to show students what a person of good character looks like. The administrative team is consistently present throughout the school and interact with students at every opportunity. The school climate at Catalina is very positive and upbeat. Students are well taken care of and prepared to succeed. Teachers take the time to build relationships based on trust and respect with the children and take whatever actions are necessary to provide what each student needs.

I have felt nothing but true passion, love, and a willingness to ensure their student's success is not only accessible but just in reach with some hard work. Catalina and it's staff want nothing but the best for their students and will do whatever it takes to ensure that all of their students feel safe, loved, welcome, and ready for anything they set their minds to. We should feel blessed to have this school in our community.

Catalina = family. I work with very talented, dedicated teachers, whose primary focus to provide a safe, engaging learning environment for their students is reflected in the smiles and excitement of said students each day -what a wonderful tribute to such dedication. Students know the staff and administrators care about them and that they come first. It has been, and continues to be a wonderful place to work!

The best thing about Catalina Ventura is how much it cares about the community and it's students. The teachers there go above and beyond what most others do for their students in the Valley. It's no secret that teachers aren't paid well, but that doesn't stop them from buying extra school supplies for students or providing special projects and snacks for parties. They truly care.

I appreciate the time and effort each teacher makes to deliver a great, well rounded education. From the Principal to the custodian, our family has found that every person at Catalina cares about the kids and our community. We are lucky to have a leader with a solid vision for the future of our children.

It's cliche to say you don't know what you have until it's gone, but it's truly how I feel now that my son has graduated from Catalina. He had a wonderful educational experience with teachers who truly were dedicated. I want to thank all the teachers, but most of all the principal & assistant principal who took the time to build a relationship with my child.

Don't care for the interim principle, it's black or white with him, no gray with him, doesn't do well with special needs children.

The staff and kids are always very friendly. The kids are respectful and the campus looks immaculate. I've attended school functions and the principal is very friendly and welcoming. You can tell she and her staff are there for the kids! They do a great job!

The teachers and staff at this school care a lot about their students. They go above and beyond to make sure each student is educated. Not only do they worry about the education of each child, but they ensure that each student practices each pillar of character.

In the past 6 years, Catalina has made outstanding gains in achievement. As a "B" school, Catalina has surpassed many inner city schools and maintained a positive community. They treat everyone like family and continue to make strides in the community. I'll my children, grand children, great grand children... etc will go there.
