Garcia Elementary school offers the best education for children. Students not only learn the skills needed as required by the curriculum but in depth and more relevant research based inquiries are undertaken. Students learn to have connections with what they are learning in school to that of the real world. This is a great place where academics and values intertwine. Teachers and staff are dedicated and committed. I just love how they set high expectations for the kids and how they engage their students to accomplish such expectations!

GRACIELA GARCIA ELEMENTARY TO MY EXPERIENCE IS THE BEST ELEMENTARY SCHOOL THAT MY KIDS WOULD OF ATTEND. I HAVE 3 KIDS AND ALL OF THEM WENT TO THIS SCHOOL AND THEIR DUAL LANGUAGE AND ACADEMIC STANDARDS ARE THE BEST. MY OLDEST SON CAME OUT OF THIS SCHOOL KNOWING HOW TO READ, WRITE AND UNDERSTAND BOTH ENGLISH AND SPANISH. EVEN THOUGH SPANISH IS VERY HARD BECAUSE OF ALL THE PUNCTUATIONS THAT IT TAKES TO FULLY WRITE AND READ IT PROPERLY. MY DAUGHTER AND MY YOUNGEST SON ARE STILL ATTENDING THIS SCHOOL AND I'M VERY PLEASED WITH THIS SCHOOL'S ACADEMIC STANDARDS. THE PRINCIPAL AND THEIR TEACHERS TO ME ARE THE BEST AND I RECOMMEND THIS SCHOOL FOR EVERYBODY, THATS WHY I GIVE THIS ELEMENTARY A FIVE STAR RATING.

Great School!!!! Teachers go about and beyond in all their work. Students expectations are high driving them to strike for the best. Great atmosphere. My kids had great learning experiences touching the personal life though the International Baccalaureate teaching philosophy.

This school has great teachers. We speak spanish and my 7 years old daughter is learning english very fast at this school, she loves her teachers Ms. Bocanegra and now Ms. Z iga. The security is good too. I am really happy with this school.

While visiting your area, we drove by your school on Sept. 9th, 2011. I was very surprised ( and, embarrassed) to see the Texas flag flying upside-down in front of your school. We've been told that this a common occurance. Pleae correct this. Thanks, Kathy

I have kids that have no choice but to attend, I'm all for the Bi-Lingual but this school caters more to the people who do not speak English. It is insulting, and I think they need to do a better job of making it equal and not lean more towards one specific language. I have Hours of video of graduations,programs, etc etc and i am ready to submit them to the school board and show them this is not Bi-Lingual. Overall the safety isn't so great, there drop off system is not too good. I give this school from my own personal experience, a one star. Garcia Elementary , you can do better! the potential is there go for it!
