    This school has a great principal who is very involved and is "present." The teachers at this school really care about the students and will go above and beyond to help. My daughter (moved to this school in 2nd grade) is extremely shy and thanks to the encouragement of her 2nd and 3rd grade teachers, she is more confident and excelling in school - all A's! They have partnered up with the City of Pharr to provide excellent after-school programs. Academics are good. My daughter's reading has improved dramatically, along with reinforcement at home. Curriculum is taught in English. I am sure they offer ESL classes for those students who need it.

    Great school!! The Principal and all the teachers was so nice, my childs love his teachers and they take care well of them, thank you!!

    my son went to whitney ...awesome teachers my son is autistic and he got the best teacher ever, ms.moreno .. and ms. lujan .. they took the time and made it a priority not to let my son fail .. like the movie "waiting for superman" said when you see a great teacher you are seeing a work of art ...and it is very true!
