What a great school! People move here from all over the state to send their kids to PHS, and now I know why.

Staff and teachers pretend to care. Mental health crisis. Vaping and smoking run rampant. This school is the worst!!! Do not send your kids here. (-a student)

Teachers are known to talk bad about other PHS teachers, staff and other students. Teachers have no control over students and are rumored to raise grades to save face.Students are gravely disrespectful towards teaching staff. Girls are dress very inappropriately (stomachs, chests and rear ends hanging out), boys and girl talk about bodys, sex, drugs and drinking during the school day.Swearing, fighting, bullying, cheating, vaping and inappropriate language are a common sight at PHS. Although we do have some good teachers and staff, I shutter to think what is swept under the rug.

My student was beaten unconscious and left on the bathroom floor by 2 other students. That happened in April, and as of today, Aug 19, nothing has been done about it. School starts in a couple weeks and having gotten away with this, these 2 students have free reign to do the same to some other student. We are still waiting for resolution. Petoskey as a whole is too busy protecting it's "A safe, wonderful place to live and raise a family" facade that it can't handle the problems that exist here. My student was lucky in that he wasn't killed...he feared for his life and didn't think he would make it out of that bathroom alive. All this happened in front of other students, who after getting video of him lying unconscious on the floor, went on to their next class and never alerted a teacher or other adult as to what just happened. No, I would not recommend this school. They have a terrific marching band and a beautiful stadium...and that's about it.

Petoskey High School is the worst school I’ve ever attended in my life, the students are out of control, the teacher do nothing about bullying. The building is not a safe place, one of the teachers is awful at their job and do not have the students best interest. They need to stop letting kids talk about politics in school and get it together. (: overall I do not recommend to anyone

This school has such an amazing staff. Teachers bend of backwards to try and do whatever they can to help a student be successful. The facilities are also excellent.

The staff is overall very experienced and provide great opportunities for learning. The community is very supportive of the schools in Petoskey.

At this school you have good teachers and then you just have horrible ones, this school also does not deal with problems that well
