This school is not bad it's more strict but it's ok, to be honest, I've had amazing teachers so far ( 6th grader) My language arts, social studies, Spanish science, and math teachers all have respect for their students means something they all show the respect needed and they also give support and advice to get better in work I don't hate any of my teachers I don't understand why many people hate on this school it may sound awful but in reality it's not the staff it's the students that don't know how to control themselves and disrespect the staff it's so disrespectful so see that they have no manners toward amazing teachers. I mean not all teachers are the best but if you respect they will be nice to you just respect your classmates and don't get into a fight there's ISD in that school you will get school detention or even worse suspended and you might even switch lunches and to 6A or 6B it depends what grade you are in and you won't be able to see your friends anymore but teachers try their best at points you just be nice no fighting if your dealing with something just feel out a form the the school will give you or talk to your teacher about it and you will get called down to the consular. The 6th-grade counselor is so nice I love her she is the best I haven't met any of the rest but I'm sure they are nice too because that's what they are there for especially since they give amazing advice all my first year isn't so bad I thought it was gonna be worst but no not I learned it's the student they don't care at all.

If you’re thinking about putting your child into this school please don’t. Learning sucks, teachers don’t care about students, they rather let kids be on their phones than learn. Assignments are ridiculously long and give little to no help when asked about it. AP classes are not worth it at all, teachers are rude and just pile on work. My child never felt noticed or welcomed at school, the first day she was there she was getting bullied for her looks and for not speaking Spanish, and it’s not only her, multiple other kids go through this daily and school does nothing about it, no punishment, no warning, nothing. The school does what it needs to do with Special Education, only minimum don’t go above and beyond. Security is horrible and fights happen around 3 times a week. As a parent, I didn’t feel cared for or respected, people at the front desk were rude and made a big deal about picking my child up. It’s insane that I genuinely have to write a negative review of this school. Schools should be a safe and welcoming environment, not violent and isolated.

It's alright. Just alright. Kids there can be so annoying and snitchy about every single thing you do. You can never get some privacy. Teachers are pretty alright, but again, they can get on your nerves. Don't get me started about the fights. Last year, there was a fight at least every single week. That was probably the worst year of my life. I cried a lot too, but they barely do anything about it. They send you to the counselor. 'It's okay, we won't tell a single soul!", they'll probably say before you start. And what do they do? They tell you parents almost right away and you'll have to sit through hours of "why didn't you tell me?" and "what's wrong?". It was a pain. It actually got a bit better in the 2022-2023 school year. At least by February of 2023, I don't know if it shall change by then. They changed a lot of the staff around, and there's practically no more fights, although a snotty kid might screw everything up for you. I could go on and on, but to sum it all up, this school's fine if you have good friends to rely on and you actually pay attention to stuff. I don't recommend going there if you have the choice though. Actually, McGinnis is even worse, so might as well move away to a better county or town. Good luck if you are going there though, you'll need it. -7th Grader

This school isn’t quite that bad if you keep to yourself and stay away from the “popular” kids. The school isn’t bad, it’s a nice size and the teachers are okay, it’s the students you should look out for. I wish there were more accepting students and that they would realize that not everyone is just like them. Many of the kids do drugs and hang with the older kids, it’s really annoying. If your kid knows right from wrong then they’ll do just fine, the teachers are pretty good here. If i could switch though I would, more because of my own personal experiences and generally just want to move.

If you don't get into drama or try to get clout then it would be pretty fun if you keep ur friend group close and don't associate with fake, clout-chasers, or toxic people. Just go around their day unbothered.

Despite what people say about this school, it's one of the best. I'm sure many would disagree with me. However, the teachers there are devoted to their students. There is tremendous Shull School pride. For the 2013-2014 School Year also, Standard Operating Procedures were enacted by the new Principal, Michael Heidelberg. This is a great school.

WORST SCHOOL EVER do not bring your children to this school so many things happen through the year like bomb threats, gangs, drugs, fights etc. I've been to this school and it was the worst four years of my life. It's not a safe place for education!

This is a safe school and a friendly environment for your child. Now that they have a new principal this school is safer, more fun, and has a lot of fun activities for your child!!! Shull school is #1!!!! Shull school has no fights, tremendous staff, marvelous students,a extravagant principal and vice principal, and for lunch has a healthy lunch. They have a salad bar and they have a vending machine for children to use in case they get hungry and their teachers let them eat food in class. I love everything about Shull school and I honestly don't think Shull school needs to improve that much the only thing that should improve at this school is the temperature of the classes so make sure to provide your child with a shall school sweater. Thank You that is all folks!!!!
