This school is excellent. Everyone from the teachers to the administration and I everyone inbetween really put in the effort and it shows. I recommend this school to everyone I know.

I used to be a student at the middle school of CLA. It had great learning techniques in mostly all the main classes. For some classes however, teachers would shove information in your face and expect you to learn it on your own, then take a quiz/test for it usually by the end of the week. The only sports that students actually liked while I was there was volleyball and track. Most students here were very unathletic and focused more on education. Those who were athletic and did a sport were mostly always stressed because of how much homework there was, as they had less free time. The teachers were terrible at this school also. I was friends with lots of people in the LGBTQ+ community, and if someone who wasn't apart of that would make something such as an inside joke with that person, the teachers would freak out and say it's bullying. (There was no bullying, but the teachers would overreact over things that weren't bad) The emotional support was also very bad. I remember telling a teacher that I was very mentally unstable and suicidal and they told me to take a deep breath in and release the stress by exhaling. (How is that supposed to fix suicidal idealation?) This school was also racist. People had been called racial slurs for being a person of colour, and none of the teachers did anything the whole year to stop it, and didn't care about it at all. It would continue so much, and most of the teachers would only get upset if the POC said something back. I would not recommend this school at all. I was grateful for the education provided, but it was a very unsafe environment to learn. Please do not choose to send your child here.

I agree with some of the reviews. Teachers do not have the training to accommodate the students who are able to do more than the basic curriculum. Also, yelling at the children is not uncommon. The administration is aware of these issues, and they go along with them. In the attempt to hide those problems from the parents, they limit the parents' access on campus as much as possible. The parents are used whenever the school needs money or the teachers need help with copying materials. The school is more focused on raising money, rather than educating children. For the very high tuition you pay, you would expect better quality.

I have nothing but great things to say about creative kidzs. I have used this daycare for the last 4 years. it is the best school, hands down. The center is clean and inviting, and the owner Ruth is amazing and has a lot of training in dealing with kids with trauma. This was a must for my family. The staff is amazing especially ms Gina, she always welcomes us with a sweet loving smile no matter what is going on she will take the time to listen to any of my concerns. My 1-year-old is sensitive and has separation anxiety within one week of being there she walks in like a big girl with a smile and so happy to be at school which is very comforting for me to know she is happy and loved. The student to teacher ratio is low, and the kids get a lot of one on one with the teacher every day, something you will never find at a big daycare. We are so blessed to be part of creative kidzs Family.

Creative Learning Academy is a terrible school. You will pay $13,000 to be yelled out by almost every teacher. They use the money on irrelevant things that don't benefit the kids other than the 5 minutes they wait for pick up at the end of the day with the rain roof they are adding. They do not have creativity or learning like the name suggests.

LOVE IT! A+ We moved our kids here after stops at other private and Santa Rosa County schools. This place is amazing. Our kids have grown immensely in their time here. It's more like a family than just a school. The education is the best around, and it's not even close. In every measure, CLA wins. Test scores, IB and college acceptance rates, national student awards, athletic awards, Spanish proficiency - CLA is on top in every way.My favorite things about CLA is they celebrate achievement in every student. From the dancer, to the athlete, to the math whiz, to the artist, each kid is encourage to push their passion and truly excel. We never new my kid loved reading and history so much. My other child fell in love with science, but also really enjoyed being encouraged to pursue photography for simple joy and happiness. The staff will find what your kid loves and excels at and help push them to be their best, and love learning for life.

Creative Learning Academy is a wonderful private school committed to the highest level of academics, in an creative and interactive manner. Small class sizes allow the teachers to be actively involved with each child, and to know each family. The enrichments are wonderful, including an extraordinary spanish program, technology that is integrated into the curriculum, arts and music, and daily PE. The entire experience is well balanced. CLA seeks to nurture each children's individual development and self-confidence, while promoting a love of learning that is foundational to life. We have been very happy to watch our children blossom at CLA and know Pensacola is fortunate to have such a gem!

This school is good for some, but not for all. They have a fixed curriculum and will not accommodate for any child outside of the curriculum, whether the child needs more challenge or less. My child complained that she was bored and the principal and teacher couldn't do anything about it. It is a great school for those kids who click, but not every child will have a good experience. My children are now in a school where they are able to go above and beyond what is expected for their grade level. For such a high fee, I would have expected CLA to be more accommodating. But sadly they are not.

Unless your child is highly gifted, don't bother to apply. It is really too bad, because on the tour they made the school to sound very individualized and extremely accommodating. But after the assessment they chose not to accept our child (one is GT and the other is Dyslexic) and instead of returning our calls, they send a form letter. I have tried several times to reach administration to ask for recommendation for other schools in the area (we are military and new to the area) yet they refuse to return the calls. Prior to the assessment, they always took my calls or returned them within 1 hour. The assessment cost $200. You would think an private educational institution, the receives funding from the University, would have a bit more professionalism and integrity. It makes me wonder if anything they said in the tour was true.

Creative Learning Academy is a wonderful nurturing environment. It not only has wonderful teachers, but also looks at the whole student! The curriculum is excellent and the small class sizes are a big plus. The enrichment classes are also incredible! My children love CLA!

All three of my children graduated from the program at CLA. They were very well prepared for high school and beyond. The best part of CLA, as a parent, was the warm and caring community of staff, teachers, and parents that helped make every year a success. The teachers are well qualified and dedicated to the whole child. My husband and I agree that the benefits of a CLA education far outweigh the tuition cost.
