DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE. THIS SCHOOL DOES NOT CARE ABOUT YOUR CHILD'S EDUCATIONAL NECESSITIES. THE CURRENT PRINCIPAL IS BEYOND RUDE. THE SCHOOL DENIES PARENT BASIC RIGHTS AND ARE NOT UNDERSTANDING ABOUT THEIR CONCERNS. THEY ARE ALL ABOUT THE MONEY. THE SCHOOL IS OUTDATED AND IN NEED OF QUALIFIED TEACHERS. IN FACT, LAST YEAR THEY ENDED THE SCHOOL YEAR EARLY FOR KINDERGARTNERS BECAUSE THE PRINCIPAL DID NOT WANT TO PAY FOR A SUBSTITUTE THE LAST TWO WEEKS OF SCHOOL AS YOU CAN SEE THEIR PRIORITIES ARE NOT WITH THE STUDENTS. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND LOOK ELSEWHERE.

I am a former student of St.Cecilia's class of 98'. I attended this private institution from K-8 grade, and I am very fond of my personal experience. It instilled key moral and life values that I still use to this day , and I am complimented regularly on my character. I would say that the math program was not as excellent and had trouble throughout my entire high school and college education because I did not understand key concepts. But my sister who also attended excelled at math. Regardless to say I learned to love my religion and the faith it instilled at a very early age. I am currently a Clinical Manager for an exceptional University Hospital and pursuing my Masters Degree in Health Service Administration. I hope this posting would assist in your decision.

As I search for a school, I am amazed by some of the reviews for St. Cecilia School. I am inclined to believe what I have been told first hand, that St. Cecilia's is a great school. The programs available after school are many and the staff is always available to speak with. Too many writings seem to be from disgruntled parents who have a great deal of time on their hands. I will be taking a tour to see what is available.

It is a blessing to work at St. Cecilia's! The faculty and staff are so supportive to the students, families and each other. The teachers are highly qualified.Many have multiple degrees and several certifications. You know this is a special place when students cry at the end of the year because they don't want to leave and graduates come back to visit. Some students even come over the summer to volunteer! Many of our 8th graders not only get accepted to Catholic High Schools, but get substantial scholarships as well. The students are awesome. I love working here!

St. Cecilia elementary school is the worst school I ever send ny kids to. I prefer sending my kids to a camden public school. And not this one. Year after year they start with the student ia doing good and at the end they want to tell you is best if they repeat the year what kind of lame xcuse is that. My kids was all F stusent at st cecilias never beter I transfer him from there to a camden public school guess what. Hes astraihht A, STUDENT. And asvice to parenrs. I did research and none of the teachers at st cecilia school pennsaiken nj are register teachers meaning they don have the education or the knolege ro teach. No wonder alll yhey care about is the money. Event and funds after funds allways asking for more. Don't send your kida to this school I'd you want your child to be some one timorrow.

Education is any parents priority! So as a parent, word of advice.. If you care about a child's education and communication with the staff then this is def not the school for you and your children to attend. Worst of all.

As a former student of St. Cecilia's Elementary School, I do not agree with any of the comments listed below. Although some of the people who commented are parents of students, I, as a former student, can say that I wish I had gone to a different school. The education there was mediocre, with teachers cursing and not really caring about teaching at all. Some of the teachers I had didn't even teach from the text book or know the material at all, which constantly confused and frustrated all of the students (upper level math teacher). English teachers assigned us loads of grammar busywork and never checked it, nevertheless teach us the grammar they expected us to know. I had a really good laugh, however, when I read that the school had Spanish as a second language. Sure, the class exist, but if you believe that learning your colors, numbers (1-10), and simple vocabulary is a class, consider this: the EXACT same material was covered year after year; thus I learned no new Spanish from 4th grade to 8th grade. If you have the money DO NOT send your child here. Do what my parents did with my sister and send her to St. Stephen's School in Pennsauken - the education is much better.
