Do not send your children to this charter school. Rampant drug use. Physical beatings that the school does nothing about. They are pro religion and try none stop to indoctrinate your child into praying and going to church. The owner principal only cares about money and charges for everything. They throw events and normal schools provide This school gives a gift to students achievements but makes them pay huge money to go on the outing That was supposed to be a congratulations you graduated trip. They lie through their teeth until you give up and call the police Then they do something about the awful physical violence and bullying in the school. Bare minimum. They say fun day for the kids to celebrate and it's a tarp on the floor with soap to slide on for teenagers They charge for the popsicles. You forget to put a payment in for lunches and they threaten you calling you a bad parents and not providing for your child I have the email.save your kid and don't go here it's an awful environment full of teachers who got their teaching over online religious college courses. They teach nothing Instead talk about Goddangerous school the principal teachers and staff are unsafe and vile people

My child has been going to this school since second grade. We left the Manchester school district. The school is extremely proactive. They provide not only support to the child but also to the family. Any concerns I’ve had have been adjusted immediately. My child likes to go to school. And also is part of the special education team. They listen to my child’s needs as well as my own concerns. This is an amazing school with a great foundation that is embracing, nurturing and allows a child to grow at their own pace

My children excelled way beyond my hopes and expectations at Strong Foundations. Whomever wrote the comments on December 20th and April 6th, clearly don't have their facts straight not to mention the spelling errors in their review. It's sad to see something like that pegged on a school that has high standards, incredibly dedicated teachers and a principal that has nothing but students and their education on the top of her priority list on a daily basis! Wherever this person got their facts from on their comments is absolutely INCORRECT, INVALID AND DISGRACEFUL. If this person had an issue they should've taken it to the administration instead of cowardly posting it on a website.

I love it! My children are strong learners now because of the teachers there.

1 This school is not a place I would recommend sending your children to. They will destroy your children's thirst for knowledge and make them Dredd going to school.

Communication from this school is horrible. Enough to take a child out of the school mid year. No response from the principal after letting her know my concerns.

Great overall school environment. The readiness program has help my shy son grow socially and academically. He is proud of who he is and what he can do. This school provides a supportive small school environment and a very welcoming community.

This is a fabulous school. It has that small school feeling where every teacher knows every student. The principal is very involved in every way. All the teachers have been great so far (I have 3 kids at the school and we have been here for 3 years). Class sizes are small ( 14-19 per class) . Kids get lots of outside time. If your child needs extra help in math or reading they get it, or if your child is advanced and ready to move ahead of the class they can accommodate that too. I could write a novel about the Orton Gillingham ( OG) approach to reading that this school uses. Its simply amazing and I can't believe how easily and quickly my children have learned to read and spell. The curriculum is fabulous. They use the Core Knowledge curriculum (not to be confused with Common Core- this is different). Besides the Core Knowledge and the OG the math program is great too. They use Saxon Math and its a solid program that give kids lots of practice on concepts. None of the confusing common core math my kids got at their old school. There are also lots of fun things ( field trips, enrichment etc that my kids love). My kids have made friends with other kids from great families. The only downside I can think of right now ( 2017) is they seem to be running out of room but I believe the principal has a plan for the rapid growth of the school recently by adding on to the building.

My son adores the teachers and students here. He skips on his way down the hall everyday on his way out. He loves learning. He retains what he learns and shares his day with me. I am happy with my choice to take him out of his previous school. He is coming out of his shell and making life-long friends.

This was a great school when it opened. However, administration has changed focus and turned it into a school primarily for children with learning disabilities. However, administration refuses to admit this and continues to "market" the school as a place for students of all abilities. However, typical kids and above are often bored or overlooked while attention is placed on those with special needs. It has also become a dumping ground for kids with behavioral problems. The middle school teachers are fantastic but in general administration can't keep teachers because they don't support their staff. It's a shame. It was such a wonderful school years ago.

My children both attend Strong Foundations. My youngest son started in kindergarten and is now in 2nd grade. My oldest son got accepted halfway through 3rd grade. A perfect balance of learning through play and academics.

I actually am a student that attended the school and can say that it was the worst academic experience of my life. Between rude, mean, and downright horrid faculty, incomplete facilities, the serving of moldy food on one occasion at lunch, and a bad curriculum, I can say that it is a bad idea to send any student to this school.

We can't say enough good things about Strong Foundations Charter Schools teachers, staff, curriculum, and parent evolvement!! They are truly amazing! We have been looking for a school like this for years for our bright but LD child. In other schools, he was shuffled through the system, never coming close to his potential. At SF they truly care about each child as an individual. Teachers there recognize students learning style so that they enjoy learning. They also build their self confidence, making them want to succeed at school. Strong Foundations Charter School is what all (Public and Private) schools should strive to emulate, in a time where so many children, are falling through the cracks. It is very evident that they enjoy what they do. The benefits and rewards of having happy, well educated children are what they are all about!
