There have been a couple teachers that have been really great, according to my daughter, but I’ve mainly dealt with the administration. The vice principal is extremely unprofessional, rude, and a pain to deal with. I think the school would be a much more pleasant place for the students and parents if she wasn’t there. There has never been any homework, which is nice, but also a little bad because my daughter won’t be prepared for higher education where she’ll definitely have work outside of class. The school has also been pretty unresponsive with bullying. They commend students with house points, but they tend to only pick the popular kids for extra points. There are several other things I’m unhappy with about this school, but I guess this is enough to write about on this site. If there were another public option for grades 5-6, I would definitely send my daughter somewhere else. Good luck if your child has to attend this school!

I love the faculty at this school. My son has never been fond of going to school, but he really likes (and respects) his teachers. I appreciate that the teachers expect a lot from the students, but they do not burden them with unreasonable homework demands. I am also happy that they offer extracurricular activities such as scholars' bowl, band, and a running club. I believe the faculty and staff have the best interest of my son in mind.

This is my child's first year at Williams. She feels that the majority of her teachers really care about her. The homework load is light this year, which has been a nice break.

All three of my children have attended Williams Intermediate School. Their teachers cared about them and did everything possible to help them succeed.

Williams Intermediate is a student focused school with concerned, qualified, and compassionate staff members. The administration and staff's number one priority is the student body. As an intermediate school, Williams helps transition the students from elementary to middle school with patience, guidance, and kindness, all while providing excellent instruction in academics.

Williams Intermediate is a very special school filled with students who take care of each other. I see that the special needs students are included in all aspects of school life. The administration fosters this inclusive setting.

Williams School would be a great school if the principal , and assistant principal were removed. When a school is run like a prison , the children are affected in a negative setting .Put someone who cares for the students and listens to the parents in these positions and the school would thrive . Children would want to attend this school. Look around we have so many private schools for our children in Pell City. Why is that ? Because the school system fails our children.Rate this school 1 star. The school board needs to listen to the parents.

This school apparently has the most tightly knit faculty in the whole system. They are very concerned with the progress and transition of students frot eh two years tehy are there. Those teachers seem to spend a lot of time focused on individual student achievment. They are constantly trying something new in the classroom in order to reach each kid.
