- Submitted by teacher on October 04, 2018I have taught at Sixth Ward for more than 11 years. The staff have been great over the years I have been here. The students are anxious to learn and are excited to learn new things. The administration is always available to address the concerns of the students and the teachers at any time. Both the parents and PTA are actively involved with student life on this campus. The school is well kept and clean due to a very caring custodial staff that also keep a close and watchful eye on all our students. SWE for me is like being home...you don't want to leave because everyone feels like family. JOIN US!!
- Submitted by other on September 23, 2012I was a student there years ago and know the principal who is there now. My granddaughter is in kindergarten and I will monitor her progress closely. So far I am pleased.

They are very interested in your child's well being, not just the numbers. I hate the fact that my daughter has to change schools this year,
