Good Schools and Helps alot of kiddos out. Needs work on the bullies though. Other than that its great. Good Band,FFA,Culinary,FCCLA,FHLA,Track and other sports and clubs. Very well put together. Although Payette does need help with the bullies. They are getting physical, Kids have gone to the hospital. I myself have not been bullied but alot of people I know have. It is getting way out of hand and is getting to big for the teachers to care and that bad.

The school lacks minor organizational skills , but other than that, seems to be a really good school. Unlike its neighbors (Fruitland), education is first and sports come second. My child very much enjoys attending Payette High. It was a, "hands down" great move from the school she attended in the past. Very glad we moved to this quiet little town. Not sure why the rating is so low, as other Payette parents would agree.

Payette School District does a wonderful job of preparing students for the future. I have had 5 children graduate from Payette School District. My oldest two children scored 34 and 36 on their ACT exams and then went on to graduate in the top 5% of their class at Boise State University. One of my children had a disability called Dyspraxia, which can make success in school very difficult. All of her teachers worked with her academically and socially to help her develop into a successful graduate. My children did not experience the bullying and pressure to conform that is so prevalent in other schools. In the middle school there are over 125 student members of Idaho Drug Free Youth, one of the largest in Idaho.
