About Panther Academy in Paterson, the only thing that I can agree with you about that school is that there are plenty of things to do there. They even have a wonderful relationship with NASA and they also have plenty of field trips to science labs and such. Now about STARS Academy however, you said that it's safe. If you're referring to the high school on East 33rd St in Paterson that's right next to a church, then you're wrong. Because I hear that school is bad now.

Panther Academy is my favorite school ever. You can do almost anything here. They also have a very good social worker. Unfortunately I was never a student here. I only took a field trip here once a week. The high school that I went to was STARS Academy. The only good things about that school is that it is safe and they let you go to a worksite three times a week. Everything else is bad. The schedule was always discombobulated especially gym. They have a lot of rules that are not necessary like you have to wear your uniform everywhere even to your worksite if not then they don't let you go to your worksite but yet the teachers don't have to wear a uniform at all. So that means that students can never express themselves. Also at breakfast and lunch you have to sit with your class at the same table. You can not talk to students from other classes. Not just lunch but you can not even talk to the students anywhere because in the hallways and bathrooms the teachers are always telling the students to hurry up and get to class. And in the classrooms we can not talk at all. And in the gym we have to stay with our class. This is one of the reasons why that I did not get to make any real friends. Some of the teachers treat certain students different. They are not mean to anyone but what I mean is that with certain students they talk about personal things and have a sense of humor with them. And with other students they just talk about work and school related things and never have a sense of humor with them. Teachers are supposed to treat all students more or less the same. If they do something to one student then they have to do it with all the students. If they don't want to do something with one student then they can't do it with any students at all. And whenever one student gets in trouble then all the students get punished. So this means that even the students that never get in trouble will be punished anyway for something that they did not even do. That is why I wish that I could have been a student at Panther Academy instead.

This is truly the best school in Paterson! I only wish they had AP CLASSES!! But I would recommend this to any student that is interested in science.
