I love this school and so do my girls. The staff is so pleasant and helpful. The curriculum is amazing and they learn so much.

My daughter prior to starting elementary school tested academically a year ahead. When it was time to enroll her in school we looked for schools that would challenge her academically. My daughter started Dawn Treader in kindergarten with Mrs. Drakeford, my daughter was challenged academically. Extremely happy we found Dawn Treader Christian school before enrolling my daughter in our town public school. We are out of district however the friendships and community that has been built and inclusive is like no other. Wish we were aware of this school with the older child. If have questions the front office is always a phone call away.

Both my child and I have had a wonderful experience at Dawn Treader. She is excited to go to school everyday. She loves all her teachers and peers. She is also excelling in all subject areas. Thank you for making us feel like family!

My experience at Dawn treader school is great, this was our first year with our daughter and she loves it, we see so much improvement on her and we happy for that. Looking forward for many years more to come.Thank you for the hard work teachers do.God bless

Both of my boys have attended Dawn Treader Christian School Kindergarten to 8th grade and i am so grateful i made that decision! My boys have truly had an amazing experience at DT personally, academically & spiritually. The curriculum and amazing teachers have challenged them to their greatest potential. The teachers and staff are very dedicated and care for all of the students needs. The most crucial choice we can make for our kids in these difficult and confusing times is which school they should attend! Christian education is a sacrifice as a parent but it's a sacrifice that's worth every penny as our children are our biggest blessing from God.

My child has been at Dawn Treader for a few years now and has had a great experience. I looked for Private schools in all of the local towns and this was one of the most affordable and the most attention to care and safety which was really important to me, especially during Covid.

would NOT recommend this school to my worst enemy! the tuition is completely unaffordable to the people in the area and no transportation is provided to students that live miles away. this school was placed here to prey on the economic status of the people of Paterson just to provide mediocre education and have kids barely hitting their milestones for their ages. God forbid you request assistance with the tuition, they can barely keep you updated with that. I do not forsee this school making it within the next year.

The Children and Teachers of Dawn Treader Christian School were so wonderful, Thank you for welcoming me into your classroom and allowing me to share my book with you, I had a great time reading to the children who were so respectful, smart, asked questions, and were so well behaved.

Both my children attend this school. The teachers and staff are not only amazing but first and foremost faithful servants of the Lord. They put God first in every way and that to me is very important. They teach the kids the same Christian values that are taught at home and they also give the proper school education that they need to succeed. It’s comforting to know that when your kids are at school they are safe and in good hands. Keep up the great work and may God continue to bless everyone at Dawn Treader Christian School.

I initially thought the idea of a Christian School was a fantastic idea! Unfortunately, I had an awful experience. I'm rather surprised to see these raving reviews. I even wonder if they are reviews from years ago or from employees because this school was a joke. My child learned nothing. The curriculum, or lack of, was not rigorous. I tried to address my concerns, but they fell on deaf ears or were received with an attitude. The third grade teacher never seems to have a system to grading. For example, she would take points off for penmanship instead of focusing on important elements of writing. Report cards? I saw 2, but they were scrambled together after I inquired about grades more than once. I am an educator in the public school system and I will never enroll or reenroll any of my children in DT. There's so much more I could say, but I'll leave it at that (I know other parents felt the same way). I hope they get it together and make improvements. God bless.
