I normally don’t write reviews, but my experience with Ellen Ochoa has been deeply troubling, and I feel obligated to share it. This school has serious issues with safety, professionalism, and the overall treatment of students and parents. Metal detectors had to be installed due to students bringing weapons to school, which speaks volumes about the environment. There are fights every day. If you search “Ellen Ochoa” on TikTok, you’ll see videos of these fights, which speaks to how widespread the issue is. For this to be a new school, it leaves a lot to be desired.I have personally witnessed teachers—and even the principal—yelling and cursing at staff and students. The principal has allowed staff to disrespect and pick on students, including name-calling. When I raised concerns, I was met with hostility. The principal has yelled at me and displayed threatening behavior, which is completely unacceptable. My daughter was humiliated while serving ISS when she was forced to sit on stage in front of the entire cafeteria, where students laughed and picked on her. There are administrators who display clear bias and retaliate by spreading false information about students, including my child. One administrator in particular has made repeated efforts to paint my daughter in a negative light instead of providing support. The school environment is rough, with aggressive student behavior that goes unchecked. Teachers appear burned out and often seem to do the bare minimum, which directly impacts the quality of education and student well-being.If you ever need to escalate issues at this school, I highly recommend contacting the superintendent’s office, the area supervisor, and the chief of school leadership and support. If those avenues don’t bring results, don’t hesitate to call the news or use social media to bring awareness to what’s happening here. No parent should have to fight this hard to ensure their child is treated with dignity and respect.

My kids went to this school and they have ADHD, they didn't know how to care for their needs and I took them out of that school and placed them in McLoughlin. It is a much better school. They teachers there treat them a lot better and they made Honor Roll students. .
