Parowan High School provides an atmosphere for learning. The teachers care about their students and go the extra mile to ensure that all students are given ample opportunity to learn and grow. Because the enrollment at PHS is smaller than average, each student has a myriad of opportunities to shine, both in the classroom and in extra curricular activities. Unfortunately, the smaller numbers also make it difficult for PHS to secure resources to fund increasingly important classes and curriculum such as, for example, math, physics, chemistry, and other classes that constitute the foundation for the hard sciences. (Call the Iron County School Board to ask questions about the lack of critical funding for these classes at PHS). Nevertheless, for a small rural school, PHS is full of intelligent, articulate, outgoing, and quality students that are provided with a platform to succeed in life, right there in Parowan, UT. The faculty at PHS deserves a giant THANK YOU!

I really like Parowan High! Every one there is very nice, and all of the teachers understand you and meet to your needs. It's not like you here about other schools where all of the older kids hate you and treat you like dirt. You get along with everybody!!
