My disabled child’s experience at Normandy has been exceptional. The teachers & all of the staff from paraprofessionals to nutrition services, has helped him succeed in many ways. They also help him have enriching experiences while learning.

I'm part of class of 2015, so I am graduating this year. However, hopefully not at this school. They treat their students with disrespect, and don't seem to care much to keep them happy or atleast make a compromise with them. They changed everything with how they run this school and it has only made it go downhill. The new math system they try to push on us is the worst. It has been complained about by basically every student and even some teachers! I was getting A's in math until they changed everything around, now I have to retake Algebra 2 with another math class in the same year because of this. Yet they think it's still a good program? It's a joke, this school. Parma City Schools in general is just one big joke. I'm transferring to a private school or a good online school. If you're new to the Parma area, DON'T send your kids here.

I graduated from normandy in 2012, although i did have some passionate teachers, the angry, discouraging teachers were far more prevalent. While I was attending, I had a teacher ( Macalla), come up to me in the cafeteria and start making fun of the way I did my hair. She carried on to tell me that because I'm different I will have no future. I went to the office crying my eyes out and they laughed at me. This incident has stuck with me and still hurts because she never apologized. This school overlooks what should be immediately addressed. The only good thing about Normandy is the Normandy Invader Marching band.
