    We’re a military family and have attended many schools across the country and overseas. We’ve been very pleased with our children’s experiences at Colony. The school allowed our son to advance two grades and our daughter to advance one grade, and all of their teachers seem genuinely passionate and dedicated. The staff at this school truly cares and makes an effort. While the facility is a bit older, the principal does an excellent job of providing a wide range of clubs, sports, and activities—one of the main reasons we chose this school. They’re also the only middle school in the valley with an orchestra program. For a public school in Alaska, this school has been fantastic, and we love it! If you're a sports family, the teams here perform quite well, too.

    My student is finishing their first year at Colony Middle School. I've received adequate correspondence and information from their teachers and counselor. They've received academic support when needed and they feel confident in speaking to their teachers on their own behalf. My student has not complained of bullying and their overall impression of their school is favorable and they're proud to be a Knight!
