Principle stands outside for car rider line but doesn’t pay attention to what is transpiring as people stay off to the side taking turns he just lets anyone skip line very lazy

My child went to this school for one year. That was one year too long. I came across only two caring teachers. Albeit I haven’t gone out of my way to meet all. Kids get bullied, and when it gets brought up to the teachers, nothing is done to rectify the situation. Epitome of laissez-faire attitude. I believe the saying “fish stinks at the head” applies to this school 100%.

This school is total garbage. Because of where we live our daughter is starting her third year. We are hoping to get her transferred out. We have had to have the same conversation with all three of her different teachers about calling her names and treating her poorly. The teachers at the school only want to educate the kids who are easy and not the slightly more difficult children. Our daughter is on the spectrum so she falls into the slightly more difficult category. She is super smart but her teachers at the school are not at all patient with children. If you look further into the reviews and the letter grade that the school has this year. You will notice a drastic decrease in quality since last year. Their new principal is a total joke and spends more time recording messages to send to everybody’s voicemails then he does making the school a higher quality educational place.

Fair. it has its pros and cons. I would like to see more academic progress and better strategies to keep all students on track and to help them excel. I think the desire is there for the staff, but it is lacking in the application. Many teachers seem very stressed and impatient and it has been witnessed often being directed at students. Some teachers are disorganized and apathetic. There are a number of engaging activities at the school and the principal is doing a fine job. The teachers are where it really counts though. I see many kids falling behind simply because the teachers don’t notice, and/or are to rushed to get through the lesson. Slow down and teach like you hair is on fire! (I.e. show passion for teaching! )

Two years in a row they've protected the bully and harassed/shamed the victims. The teachers are apathetic to any kind of discipline, except to isolate the victim rather than protecting them. They are AWFUL!

To parent that put "Horrible school! Registrar is the worst. Unwilling to help single fathers wanting to be involved in there child's life.". I would personally like to call you out on this. I know the registrar from the school & when I showed her this she was very upset. She has no idea what you are talking about and would like you to personally speak to her ASAP so she can figure out why you think this. Thank you. Besides that I know for a fact Rymfire is the best elementary school around. Both my kids have gone to this school and one is currently enrolled and it is amazing as well as most of the staff. I have NEVER seen the registrar out of place and she goes above and beyond her job. She is always helping in anyway she can. I have only known her since I enrolled my kids 3 years ago but she went above and beyond to help get them registered. She sent their out of state shots to the health department for me to save a trip and had them transferred on the Florida Form and helped me get everything needed to start school. I was amazed by how she was multi-tasking and helping. Have a great day.

The administrators do not do what is best for the children only what's good for themselves. Very sad that some parents are not given equal consideration when it comes to custody cases.

This is a great school with a true dedication to curriculum standards and with many activities available for the students, parents and families - as a whole. My son loves his teacher and we transitioned him a few months after school had begun. They are great about putting technology into the classroom and having it assist with learning. Parents are also welcomed and encouraged to assist within the classroom or the school. This really is a welcoming school with cutting edge technology and a real commitment to student learning.

My daughter just started the a couple weeks ago and she loves it! Her teacher emails to keep in touch weekly which is helpful considering kids lose papers or forget. I love the antibully program and how they have a decent amount of homework to keep them busy and challenged. I adore Mrs Araujo already and I know that she keeps them going to learn as much as they can!

I have two children in K and 1st grades and they both love their teachers. The school is current with technology while still allowing parents to have the decision to help their student do their homework on the computer or old school on work sheets. The staff is friendly and the PTO has a lot of activities plan thus far to include mom, dad or other guardians in afterschool activities. My son's teacher quickly picked up on the fact that my son is very advanced in his reading and he is now in an advanced reading group that is challenging him to learn even more.

I was a bit hesitant about enrolling my daughters at Rymfire after I had read the reviews, but SEEING IS BELIEVING. I am so lucky that my daughters get to attend such a professional, student centered school. I love their antibullying program, and how dedicated they are to improving my daughters English level. My girls came from a school overseas and it was their fist time in an American mainstream classroom. The teachers *MS. Jacques* in particular made my daughter feel safe, comfortable and secure. If there is one thing I will miss about Palm Coast it will be RYMFIRE..
