After going to this school for 2+ years, i have never regretted going to a school more. As a Christian school i expected more respect, love, and caring for their students. I also expected the teaching of the Christian belief to be more sutble, but no, that was not the case. I felt very forced to increase my level with being a Christian. The Administration is very rude, and do not know how to keep their hands off of their students. The assistant principal gave me bruises up and down my thighs checking my jeans "to see if they were too tight on my legs". She would also target young ladies with bigger sized legs, and make them change into pants that are 4 SIZES too big or give them detention until they got jeans or pants, which many could not either afford, or have the avaliablity to buy them. Peniel Bapitst Academy was not the school they claim they are.

this is a great school,the teachers care about the students.my girl has came a long way she never made nothing but d&e on report cards.now she is on the a/b honor roll.that because the teachers take extra time with each student.thanks penial.............

Peniel has a wonderful Christian environment where teachers work hard to help students achieve all they can. Students have the opportunity to learn from a Christian perspective and are challenged to grow academically and spiritually.

My son has been here for two years now and absolutely loves it! He continues to improve in his learning and attitude. The teachers and staff have always been vey helpful and caring!

I am a parent of two elementary age children. I love that I have a close connection with each of the staff and teachers involved in my children's daily activities. Every day, I receive emails, texts and/or written notes regarding my children and their progress/issues, notification of upcoming events and opportunities of in-school or community outreach opportunities through the school. I would not get this from a public school setting. My son loves the challenges he receives in class, and the praise from his accomplishments. My daughter loves the afterschool activities and I love that I do not have to coordinate daycare/pickup because that too is an available option with Peniel. I know that Peniel has a true love for their children and care about their spiritual and educational success. I am thankful I can send my children to Peniel.

The reason why I am rating the school as a 4 is because I beleive there is always room for improvement. The main reason I send my child to school at PBA is for the academic curriculum & Biblical Studies. I have never left like the discipline at the school was outageous however I haven't had my child act disrespectful to any of the staff. If anything I beleive that in some causes in the past things have been swept under the rug per say when discipline should have been an outcome. However I have seen huge improvements with the new administrators. I am very pleased with Peniel!

Problems with the teacher... they refused to change teachers... they also seem to treat pre-k parents differently than those that pay to send their children there. The people in the office is very snooty, and not pleasant to talk to. This school wants to hear that your children gets spanked at home as a form of discipline. It is only the second week of school am I am very unhappy with this school. I have moved my child to river christian academy. Just b/c this school has a five star rating does not make it a good school.
