I rate this school a zero. I ended up moving from my lake home to another state due to the horrible teachers and staff members. Even the superintendent felt too superior to meet with me the parent in any format whether in person, on the phone, or via email.

I'm a student at this school and i feel that it is not the best of schools the school revolves around sports and the teachers don't take much time to help you on the things that you are confused about.. not the best school I've been to.

School of the Osage High School is great all the teachers are motivational they take the time to help you and everyone here is just the best. The students there are exceptional and incredibly smart. The extracurricular activities are fun and interesting. They have such things as the art club, creative writing club, even a French and Spanish club. Their sports include tennis, football, cheer leading, basket ball, and a lot more. My son is a football player and a sophomore and he loves this school he said its one of the best there is to be in their classes are fun. School of the Osage even offers a pre college school where during the firs two hours of the day they go to LCTC, Lake Career and Technical Center, which you can go to for many things such as culinary arts, photography, and metals, and more! I feel like School of the Osage deserves this 5,000 dollars they are an outstanding school!!!

This school is great. All of the teachers truly care about the students and most are willing to provide extra help if needed. There is always a way to comunicate if there is a problem. As long as the kids are respectful and pay attention, the teachers are eager to teach and make sure your child is learning everything they need for college. I like the variety of extracirricular activites. The extra courses really help students figure out what they are interested in, with weight training, metals, and plenty of AP classes. I wouldn't want to go to any other school because I feel so prepared and I know these teachers will be there for me even after high school.

Former student. Graduated in 2000. I loved this school. It was small enough to know everyone and big enough to have everything you need. While attending school, I thought I was a decent student. A couple years later when I received my transcripts, I realized I wasn't that great. Being #52 out of 100 students. I always thought the teachers were great, but never had any that seemed to go out of their way to assist me personally. When I think back, all the students that got personal help with achievement were either in a special needs class or some of the top students in the school. I didn't know my options. I just knew I attended everyday, did my sports & clubs, and homework. There was 1 college prep class that all the preppies went to. I was NEVER encourage to take it nor talked to or given college options. There were brochures in the counselor's office. I didn't even know the counselor was the one to talk to about college. All in all, school in general is great. teachers very, education average, College prep/future options/class recommendations/being pushed to succeed are poor.
