The communication at this school has been terrible. We were told about open house 2days before it happened. The events for parents are never told with enough time to plan ahead. It just seems to be run poorly.

If I could give this school a zero I would. I am very dissatisfied on how my child is being taught there it's a shame. I feel the teachers need to take more time with students AND COMMUNICATE MORE EFFECTIVELY WITH PARENTS . It seems like some TEACHERS there just don't really care as they should on the students success and that's extremely disappointing. Looking to transfer my child Out If Claracona elementary.

Clarcona Elementary is an outstanding school. They teachers, staff, administrators, and everyone associated with helping provide an education and a safe place for the students are second to none. My son is currently in second grade and the education and attention he receives assure me that he is in the best school possible to begin his education and he will have no problems when it comes time to head to middle school in a few years. I have 2 younger children that will also be lucky enough to attend Clarcona when they are school aged. We have attended many PTA sponsored events at the school, from the Fall Festival to kick off the school year, to the Teacher Talent Show, and the level of excitement and both teacher and parent participation is refreshing and something you don't see at every school. It really shows the teachers actually care about their school and their students. I wouldn't want my kids at any other school.

Clarcona is an excellent school! The staff and teachers work hard to help students succeed. The PTA does a superb job of monthly activities and brings in many guest speakers and assemblies throughout the year. Top school in the area!

I have worked at this school for several years. The administration, teachers, and other staff members all try their best to make this a great school for all of our students. We are currently a very large elementary with a diverse population of students. Administration has made a lot of investments into supporting teachers, offering training/coaching, and increasing student learning. There are some growing pains as standards are getting more rigorous. This is true across the entire state, but at Clarcona you can be confident the staff is being proactive about it.

Clarcona Elementary is a woonderful school. I have a 1st grader and a 4th grader with special needs that attend Clarcona. They have an amazing team of teachers, administrative staff and support staff at Clarcona, who are always warm and inviting. Each and every staff person truly cares for the children, parents, our community and each other. Everyone is dedicated to addressing each and every child's individual needs and ensuring that each child has a positive learning experience each and every day. Clarcona is dedicated to ensuring that our children reach their highest potential. I am so happy that Clarcona is our home school and I will be forever grateful for all that they have done for my children.

My experience was horrible with one of the third grade teacher's there she pre judge my child based on looks. She called my child "sarcastic" just because my child said they were extremely excited to attend school. I was very dissatisfied with this teacher she came across very rude sarcastic and with an attitude problem for no reason. I had to move my child out her class NOT A PLESENT EXPERIENCE AT ALL. In my opinion some teachers shouldn't be teaching with that type of behavior.

This school is excellent. The teachers care and my 1st grader and 3rd grader have learned so much. The principal is very involved and teachers are great in communicating with parents. We cannot wait for the new school building.

I give them a 2 because their was a fight there one week ago then I would give them a 5 because of the people their. Thery are nice & kind

Tiene excelentes profesores, el area administrativa no es muy buena. Pero la calidad de profesores es alto. Excenlent teachers. The administrative office' personal is terrible. They dont have customer servicesskills and they dont know how to try people. They have to be more polite and have good customer services skills. People that work with others need to be friendly, nice, smile, say hi, i see also a little racism for some of this schoool employees that work in the administrative offices.

I've had children in this school for the last 6 years. We have been more than pleased! The office staff is always friendly and very helpful! The principal is not the greatest- has a foot out the door for retirement. But if you push him, you'll get the result you are looking for. Mrs. Street (kindergarten) is by far the absolute best teacher there! Mrs. Roberts (1st grade) comes in a close second. The only teacher we had trouble with was Mrs. Weiss. Not that she's not a good teacher, was just not a good fit for one of our children. Dr. Suther, with my request, quickly moved my child to a different teacher. We do wish they would improve the look of the school. But that's really the only negative. We have unfortunately moved into Citrus school area. So we will greatly miss all the teachers and staff. Overall an outstanding school for your children!!!

My children have been going to this school for the past 4 years I thought at first it was a good school but come to find out its not. I have talked with lots of other parents & they have told me all kinds of things that they see go on at the school that they are not happy with I have seen the kids being bullied by other children even kids fighting & getting away with it the principal does not do anything with the kids the assistant principal acts so nice & will always tell you she will handle the problems but never does she is very fake, the office staff they talk behind your back & have no respect for anyone the teachers i would say that 70% of them are awesome but the rest be aware.when your children come home & tell you something believe them & always try to eat lunch with your child or help out in the class for a few hours & you will see what goes on i did That's why I moved over the summer just so my children do not have to go back to that school for 2011-2012 school year.
