    We have been a Standing Bear family for 7 years and have 3 more years to go. We love this school. Most of the teachers have been at Standing Bear for some time, which is a positive thing! 2023-2024 is the first year that Standing Bear has 5th grade, so while it is a big school, they are doing great things!

    My son is a first grade student at Standing Bear Elementary, and we are very pleased with the school. The teachers and the principal are excellent!!! In addition, we like the parental engagement at this school. Standing Bear offers lots of family activities like movie nights, skating parties, special guest days in the classroom (e.g. Donuts with Dad), and the turnout is quite impressive.

    I have two grandsons attending Standing Bear Elementary School. Their family recently moved to Omaha, NE and they are excited about the school, staff, faculty, and the academic and extra programs available to the students. Face it, when your grandchildren enjoy going to school - that means a whole lot of good is happening and children are excelling.
