This is the hidden gem in the OFSD. My daughter loves this school.The teachers are very dedicated and supportive of the students!

Being new to the district was intimidating until speaking with and meeting faculty! This isn't just a school it's a community! My first grade daughter is proud to be a Bulldog! She's given the opportunity to make smart choices. She's given the ability to learn WHY it's a smart choice as opposed to "because I said so" enforcement. I hope to have the privilege of calling OF home for many, many years & for my child to grow and develop in this tight knit community!!

A large number of the teachers at this school seem to teach a curriculum that revolves around the students doing the same 5 assignments out of a notebook every week for the school year. I suppose this makes it a little more straight forward for what is expected of the students, but at the same time looks to be quite the cop out for the teachers. Also, they basically hound you and humiliate you about paying school fees, days after school starts. I found it particularly amusing as well that they have an absurd school supplies list, over $80 per student. It included items for in class use like "large plastic container of ab wipes". These items should be supplied by the school. They should have them, the teachers have a budget for their class and worst case scenario teachers can write off any supplies they pay for out of pocket in their taxes. I know several teachers personally and have verified this. Best of all I had to I back and buy again several of the children's basic supplies as their teachers confiscated the majority of their supplies when school started and they do not have access to them. That says it all.
