My son has attended Immanuel Lutheran School (Olivette) for three years. He absolutely loves the school, teachers, and the staff. Immanuel emphasizes the importance of values and builds leaders through each of their classes and lessons. Immanuel brings out the best in every child by tapping into their individual strengths. It creates an environment that is Christ-centered, filled with kindness, and creates responsibility and leadership. The teachers at Immanuel Lutheran School are patient, engaging, energetic, and passionate about seeing their students succeed. If you are looking for an amazing school for your child in this general area, I highly recommend you schedule a tour!

My son has been in the school for 3 years (pre-k and kindergarten). We love the school. Teachers are nice, gentle, patient. And most import, they love the students. This Christmas, every family received the handmade gift from the teacher. :)The kids love each other. When I pick up my son, sometimes he may forget packing his water bottle, hat, or gloves. His friends will bring them to me. They will say goodbye with smiles on their faces on the parking lot. My son knows his friends' interest, which will give us some idea about birthday gifts. :)

Both of my children attended Immanuel and had very good experiences. From Preschool on, I loved the diversity and the care that each teacher showed my children. They received a very good education, (they both tested well at their next school) and they have a strong base for their Christian faith to grow and stand strong against any challenges they may face.

This school's kindergarten experience was terrible for an Afro-American male. The teacher had obvious biases. We had to remove him from the school, before her biases effected his learning. He entered her class with a pretest score of 39 correct out of 41. The grades she gave him were arbitrary and not reflective of his true ability.

I have had an amazing experience with this school so far. I am excited to continue to have my children in this school all the way through 8th grade.

I love this school! I've been going here my whole time in the education program (9 1/2 years), and it has been great! There are GREAT teachers, properly equipped facilities, amazing extra- curricular programs, and very nice people. I've enjoyed my years here, and I would recommend sending your child to this school.

I graduated from this school. Please don't send you child here. There are racist teachers and some teachers have favorites. Also depending on your race it won't matter how well your child may perform if there's a white kid that had been there longer rest assured they are going to get the praise. the school lunches are so small you might as well pack your child a lunch anyway. I remember getting some lunches and still be hungry and they don't allow seconds. They are behind in technology the best your child will get is typing skills and that's about it. Don't send your child here unless you want to work twice as hard to get them a good education. You can get better at a public school.

Immanuel is a great school with caring teachers and a positive, Christian atmosphere. My child has attended for 9 years now, beginning in preschool and I continue to be impressed with Immanuel. Students are given several opportunities to demonstrate their learning in a variety of ways and can also be involved in several extracurricular activities!

Immanuel is a great Christian school with caring teachers and small class sizes! My children have been cared for better at Immanuel than any other school they have attended. They are testing significantly above grade level and love their school.

Ok here is the real deal! This school lack principal leadership. Students do not get involved in their own learning, there is rote learning, teachers do not get updated training, lack of resources, teachers sit behind the desk and teach and they teach one way, lots of behavior problems, favortism from teachers for those of the faith who attend the lutheran church, discrimination, the list goes on and on. Send your child to a public school and you will get better teaching!
