All my kids attended and received a great education.

If you are not a lifelong resident of this town, do not attempt to send your child to this school. From the first week, my son was bullied not only by a certain group of "God old farmBoys" (as the principal would describe them) but also targeted by a couple teachers. From being tripped and then dragged down a hallway by his hoodie in which I had to fight for discipline to be taken to the last straw of my son's wrist being broken on a bus. My son had five assaults on him in ONE year. Sorry, one didn't count (according to administration) because it was off school grounds. The Administrators lie to your face and make excuses for their students and teachers behavior. I will say there are a few caring teachers at this school who are even appalled by their own school's behavior and lack of protecting. Without a doubt the administrators reading this review will know exactly who has written this. I welcome any phone call from them or the Pennsylvania Department of Education. I could not have dreamed a worse nightmare after moving to this little farm town. This school could be the poster school for bullying. If this review saves one child from experiencing what mine went through, I am grateful. I am currently in the process of finishing a documented report that is being sent to the Department of Education. Now child should ever go through this, no family should ever have to endure this. We have been gone from this school for two years now and the wounds are just now beginning to subside. I am happy to say while they tried to break my son, they didn't. We are two years at his school with ZERO issues. To this school...you are wrong. It was YOU. You should hold your head in shame and feel guilty for what you allowed. If you are considering this school, PLEASE PLEASE reconsider for the sake of your child.
