The principal does not care about her staff. She will embarrass them in front of other staff. I have seen it happen when I am up at the school. The kids don't have respect and why should they? They see what she does. Almost all the teachers left last year it was so bad. STAY AWAY!

They move teachers out of the subject they should be teaching. The principle gripes if a teacher is 10 seconds late and they throw away teachers complete lunches. The teachers shouldn't be trying to enforce something that they can't do themselves. If they can't act civil to each other why should the kids. They are just copying what the are seeing. They would rather have a sick teacher come in then be short on staff. They want the teachers to come in whether their kid is sick and no none can watch them or even if the teachers are sick or might be sick themselves. WORST SCHOOL EVER

I have been a teacher at Winds West for 12 years. This is an awesome school. The teachers here are caring and concerned and have an open door policy for all parents. We love our students and work every day to make their time at school productive and fun. We have a caring staff that work together closely with our administration to create the best environment for all students. --- -Mrs. Gibson

My children was doing great until we moved into the school district. The staff are unprofessional and teaching is just not there. They are a F rating school for the state of Oklahoma. They are there to only collect a paycheck and the Board needs help as well. If at all possible AVOID this school!!!

I attended Winds West from 1986 till moving to middle school. I do not have fond memories of this school as a child. When I was in Sixth grade my teacher had the nerve to ask my parents to hold me back because I was so short, regardless that her supporter in the other 6th grade class was no taller than I was then. After that my Niece attended this same school they treated her no better.

Worst school district I have been a part of. The principal is horrible and does not engage with the students. She "does not have time" to deal with them. The superintendent is mean and rude to parents. In addition, the education level at this school is horrible. Do your child a favor and pick another school district.
