Very caring, nurturing and learning environment. My child loves going to school and feels connected to her teachers and classmates.

We have several children that attend St. Eugene. We love the diversity. We have been very impressed with the religious and academic education. I recommend St. Eugene to all of my friends/colleagues with school-age children. The environment is very welcoming. We love St. Eugene!

It is the innate response of every child to inquire, explore, and acquire knowledge about the world around them. They seek relevance in their surroundings, and it is through this process that interests bloom, passions ignite, and talents emerge. Each person deserves to be encouraged to reach his or her fullest potential. Schools should be a place where every child develops ideas and talents beyond the basic curriculum. We believe in empowering our whole community to meet the needs and foster the development of the total child, to create thinkers and problem-solvers who will make extraordinary and distinguished contributions to the world. We, the Catholic School of St. Eugene dedicate ourselves to keeping Christ in our vision by nurturing spiritual growth and academic excellence in our students, their families, and the community in the tradition of the Roman Catholic Faith.

I have children in multiple grades at St. Eugene, and it is a nurturing environment that fosters learning and builds character. My children have had wonderful teachers, great opportunities for learning inside and outside the classroom (Spanish language; Lego/ robotics; Catechesis of the Good Shepherd; plan and participate in weekly Mass; 5th grade BizTown and public speaking). We have a fantastic principal committed to developing the potential of each child and providing teachers the support and ongoing professional development to do so. And beyond all that, St. Eugene has a great sense of community! It may be the best kept secret in OKC!

The new Principal is doing an outstanding job and is swiftly making changes that have been needed. Senior leadership is very strong, however support staff and some teachers seem to lack a positive and supportive outlook for students and parents. This will continue to require a culture shift from senior leadership and parents vocalizing their concerns for lack of support.

I have been to the school and so have my siblings. Although I am still a child, I can speak from experience that this school was unsatisfactory. It is great for younger children, but once your child passes 5th grade it becomes a negative environment. The teachers do not help your child and by the end of middle school, your child will be far behind in high school. After middle school, I was very far behind in many subjects and only by my own independent studying of information I was not taught by Saint Eugene's, I was able to catch up and sign up for many honors classes. The homework given is not challenging and only consumes large amounts of time. Although some teachers are great, most do not try to help your child and show no interest for their grades. The program for younger children is great! I would recommend it, but for older children, it is not a great school. There are no clubs or optional classes for middle school children with different interests.

We love this school! My daughter is in Pre-K and is learning so much! This is such a nurturing environment, the teachers and staff are amazing and you can tell they care about each individual student! My brother also goes here and is now in middle school. His classes have been challenging and seem to be well ahead of his friends in public schools for the most part. There also seems to be much more parental involvement than you see in public schools these days, and for a private school the price is very reasonable! If you're looking for a private school in the Village/NW OKC area, you should definitely consider this school!
