Our family has been incredibly blessed to have enrolled in St Joe's for the second year. As informed and engaged parents, searching for alternative education that laser focused on academics, we were looking for the most effective learning environment for our children. Learning is marginalized in schools where the latest fads, gimmicks, special interest influence, and digitization reign. Instead, we value a school that knows, and understands that what should be prioritized, are those methods which are proven most effective for learning.St. Joe's values and balances effective print materials with digital tools, and prioritizes high quality content, curriculum, and rigorous direct instruction. The sports program is encouraging and inclusive to all students. The class sizes are small and managed professionally. The staff and teachers are professional and supportive to all families who are educating their youth. Responsive parents interested in educating their children with proven high standards and expectations, will be satisfied in the St. Joe's high school experience that has consistently produced young men and women who are prepared for life, college, and career.

St. Joes has a different culture than all the schools in Ogden. They not only teach kids more than any school but they also get them in the community and teach about the importance of community. These kids work hard but they also play hard. The administration does a great job at making sure the kids have balance. They have a tough academic curriculum but they also have fun weeks where they do competitions between grades and just have down time so the kids can feel the comradery between students and teachers. They do a great job making sure no kid is left behind and they take their jobs seriously but they also know the kids individually. I highly recommend St. Joes especially if you are new to the area because they have many activities and fundraisers that get you involved as a parent and get to know other parents. We have been at st joes for 9 years!

My oldest son graduated from St. Joseph in 2017 and my youngest will be a senior next year. They both attended the elementary school as well. I absolutely love this school and the community. We are a family and we take care of each other. The teachers truly care about the success of the students and are always there to help. If parents ever need anything they are always able to email the teachers (or call them) and they are quick to respond. I highly recommend this school if you are considering a private school for your children.

Our daughter has been in the St Joe's system since the 5th grade. The school provides a rigorous education with more electives than you would expect at a school of this size. Families are encouraged to participate and the school is welcoming to students of all faiths. Staff is easy to communicate with. The small size allows for customization, which has enabled our daughter to participate in multiple sports during the same season. This wouldn't have been possible at the public school. Overall, we're very happy with our experience and the quality of education.

My sons have and had a great experience at St. Joseph! They are well rounded and have received a top notch education that prepares them for college and beyond. They have been taught by the best teachers in the state and had opportunities to get involved in various ways with the school and larger community. Love St. Joe's!

St Joseph’s Catholic HS is an academically rigorous and highly rated school. Our son thrives in the values-based environment that emphasizes respect for self and others. Definitely worth the financial investment in our son’s future!

St Joes has been a phenomenal school for our boys. It prepared our eldest son for college. With the high quality education at St Joes, he was granted an academic scholarship! We are grateful to all the staff and teachers for supporting our sons through their education career!

St. Joseph has been a great school for my daughter. She is a freshman and plays multiple sports. Class sizes are small, around 10 a class. The school does require parents to volunteer time. Tuition is quite a bit, at least for the area. But it is worth it.

St. Joseph’s aka Big Joes is an amazing faith based education that truly challenges each of its students to perform their best. Their elective courses have a good diversity. The teachers actually care about their students and communicate with parents if needed. Small class sizes help students get better one on one with teachers. They have all the standard extracurricular activities sports and drama and multiple clubs. The location of the school is just awe inspiring as it backs up to the beautiful mountains. The graduation rate and college acceptance rate speaks for itself. I am proud to send my children to St. Joseph’s because I know I am giving my children the best education there is to offer.

We were new to St. Joe's when our daughter started her freshman year. We knew we needed to try something different to really push her academically and we found the place. The class sizes are small, and the teachers want the kids to succeed. The structure that is created in the classes, where there are no phones allowed, pushes the students to interact with each other and the teachers. Our daughter loves it here.

Great school that has a lot of opportunities. For the small school they offer a wide variety of classes.

It’s a good school but there are not enough opportunities for dual enrollment courses. Also, there are not as many options for classes that I am interested in. Since so many kids do sports there are not many people participating in clubs, as well as the music department. However, teachers are great and most of the students are alright. School is not ADA compliant in any way, and no special education is offered. Probably not worth the tuition.

There is an in-group and an out-group here - and boy-oh-boy is it hard to fit in. Toxic community centered around wealth and conformity (definitely not faith...). Excluding & bullying outsiders is widespread and normalized. A depressing aura every day just waking in the building if you don't fit in.Please let your student think long and hard before they decide to come here. Most students will not belong.

One of most terrible schools my daughter experienced. She was bullied even by teachers let alone they’re stuck up students. My daughter mentally went downhill start failing classes. All the thousands we give them was absolutely worthless. And our daughter was on top of grades when she going to public schools. They don’t care!

I have been a resident of Ogden UT for 17 years. My son attended public elementary school in the local area through the 8th grade. As I examined the local high-school options, it became clear that St Joseph was the best choice for college preparation. I compared where former students attended college from St Joseph and other local public and charter schools. Many St Joseph graduates attend prestigious universities (the attendance is relatively small, so this is a high percentage.) St Joseph provided a superior combination of academics, sports and extracurricular activities. My son found his four years at St Joseph very challenging and ultimately rewarding. He was accepted to several top private universities, and he is currently a freshman at the United States Coast Guard Academy. My son owes the majority of his acceptance and preparation to his four-year St Joseph experience. I highly recommend St Joseph High School.

St. Joe's is such a tight knit community where each student receives excellent individual attention. This individual attention helps the less motivated students find guidance, accountability, and success, and it also helps the more motivated students achieve their potential.

I have been teaching Music at Saint Joseph Catholic High School since 1998. It has been an amazing experience. My son attended the school and I can say without reservation that I'm always impressed with our teachers, how much they care for our students and their colleagues. This is a true community. Our teachers are highly prepared in their fields and others as well. About me, aside from teaching, I am composing symphonies, choral and chamber works to be performed by local and out of state orchestras.
