I was very upset the way things were handled with my child..... He loved the school at first but then something happened with the teacher and he didn't want to go anymore.... when i would walk him to school he would cry so much and shake in fear...... i asked to have my son's teacher changed but they refused until i finally took him out and homeschooled him.....

Oak Park is definitely not the same from when I was little. Times have changed and this school definitely plays more favoritism for certain families. The Administration should start reviewing all teachers when they have a list of students to repeat. Its a red flag when you have 3+ students on that list and should be looked into.

This is an awesome school. Staff is very caring and they do a great job teaching the kids. My daughter attended since kindergarten and currently in 2nd grade and she is learning so much. The school is also a blue ribbon school and they truly deserve it.

I have two in this school. one in 2nd and one in 4thgrade.we love it they now get mad when school is out.

The staff is so supportive of the students and encourage parent participation. The staff is very caring.
