No patience for children with issues of learning or behavior. Apparently only "perfect" children welcomed!

I have 3 Grandchildren that attend Broadford Elementary School as a 'combined action' due to the economy, and I was worried. My worries have proven wrong as all 3 continued to thrive with the wonderful incentive programs; as one has recently earned Student of the Month. Parents/Grandparents and friends are involved and encouraged to do so. This school is definitely rated 'top notch'. We have had a few issues with the buses 'forgetting' to drop off, and there has been some scaring with the younger ones in that situation. We hope each year this gets better for all the students involved. Maybe GPS on each bus, with a pass to swipe that brings up their 'vitals' with voice reminders of where to turn--adding a voice message to 'say goodbye' to that student as they swipe their card for the door to open??

My children went to this school in the 90's and now their children go to this school. It is an excellent school and the teachers were wonderful.

Mrs. Dawna Ashby is a wonderful principal who is always willing to go the extra mile to make sure that student's, as well as, parent's needs are met. The office staff (as well as all the other staff that I have met) are so sweet and kind to everyone, which I adore! Parents are encouraged to attend pep assemblies and there are a multitude of volunteering opportunities available. Which is great for me, because I love being able to help out with my both of my children's class. My daughter has attended both Kindergarten and 1st grade here and I could not ask for better results. She had awesome teachers who genuinely cared if their students succeeded and it shows. My son attended kindergarten here so far and he loves it! He is reading and writing 100% better than he was in the beginning of the school year. While I can do without the constant asking of money from the PTO, this school has been an amazing contributor towards my children's future and I wouldn't change a thing!!

My daughter attended this school for Kindergarten for the first half of the school year. She was always cheerful when going to and returning from school- I would be too if i got to color all day and not do actual classwork. She since then has transfered to Yough Glades, now she can write, spell, and read! Broadford's teachers and staff are wonderful, if your child needs an adult friend, for learning purposes, my preference goes in favor of Yough Glades!
