No taxpayer and government-funded public district school should have to mandate school uniforms.

I have two children currently at Greenleaf. The majority of their teachers have been devoted, motivated and creative in their teaching and obviously love the kids they teach. My kids have flourished there, despite both of them having some special education needs (one on a IEP for speech and one on a 504 for ADHD and anxiety). While sometimes things have moved slower on getting the support they need than I'd like, I have always felt like we were working with the teachers and the support staff as a team and they have my kids best interest at heart. They are very interested in my perspective and working together. They do a lot to support families in a variety of ways. My kids usually love to go to school and are making good academic progress. The facilities are nice and the school makes good use of them. They have a library and a librarian, which as a wonderful thing that not all public schools are able to provide. My kids definitely are growing in their love of learning and have deep relationships with their classmates and teachers and other school staff.

Greenleaf school has gone downhill. it used to be a great school but is quickly declining fast. i'm looking forward to my son graduating soon so my family can finally be done with greenleaf. the new principal Rudback is the worst. she doesn't care about the kids or the teachers at all. all my kids went to greenleaf and we miss the old principals.

I attended Greenleaf K-8 until June 2015, when I graduated from middle school. I hated my time there. I was bullied, insulted, and manipulated by my then-classmates. Moreover, the addition of Citizen Schools to Greenleaf as an after school program for middle schoolers was a big mistake. Citizen Schools had NO homework time. It had a big effect on my grades. Finally, I've tried to tell the staff that I was called with insults, but they disciplined me too. Parents, don't send your children to Greenleaf!
