A few of my children attend school in this district. It has consistently gone down hill since the previous principals left. All that matters is 'politics'. They single out certain students and they are labeled for the rest of their time in the district. We have lost more students this year to open enrollment than ever before. The curriculum isn't challenging enough and the students don't really have any room to advance past a certain level, even though some of them have that potential. As someone who owns a home in the district, we will be open enrolling next year to another district. The community is trying for change but the board refuses to believe anyone crying for something different. We need a real overhaul of this district, or eventually the doors will close because of how unhappy most parents are.

This is a great school district! The staff are caring, compassionate and dedicated. Every student will leave this district with a quality education and the tools they need to become awesome citizens of our society.

Oakfield Elementary School was awarded the Blue Ribbon School Award this past fall by the federal government. We were one of only 8 elementary schools in the state of Wisconsin to receive such an award. It is an amazing little elementary school with a dedicated staff. The Oakfield community is exceptional.
