- Submitted by parent on January 08, 2012I found this school to be not as they represented themselves to me. For example, the house parents were not properly trained, they had a high degree of turnover and at times it appeared that they would employ as house parents any "warm body" off the street. Their methods of discipline were questionable to me. I found them to be based on emotional degradation as well as placing children in potentially dangerous situations, such as being exposed to extreme temperature without proper protection or exposed to physical harm. One of many such examples is when my son was taken for a long walk to adjust his behavior without adequate foot ware in an area with star thistle.
