As soon as you enter the premises, you will immediately be embraced by a pleasant and friendly environment created by the kind and attentive receptionists at the front desk. This year's experience has presented a slight variation in multiple positive aspects. Nurse Linda exhibits remarkable patience and openness towards all individuals. It seems as though my child deliberately seeks her assistance whenever she comes across minor discomfort or stress during the day, as she offers a comforting presence to that of a caring nurse. Mrs. Garcia embodies the qualities of a superwoman through her commendable devotion to the academic success of her students. My child holds great admiration for her and eagerly looks forward to attending her class each day! I consider it a blessing that my younger child had the opportunity to have Mrs. Sheehan as her prek teacher this year. Mrs. Sheehan goes above and beyond for her students, prioritizing their needs. I asked my child what she adores most about Mrs. Sheehan, she replied, "I love that she makes me feel safe and is is really really nice to me“ Because of the outstanding faculty and staff, my children wake up with excitement for school every day which makes the day run smoothly for me! Principal Amra has proven to be a wonderful addition to Sward Elementary!The changes implemented under Principal Amra's leadership have brought about improvement and a more contemporary approach. Principal Amra can always be found actively involved within the school premises. She tirelessly dashes from one classroom to another, wearing a beautiful smile on her face. Her attentiveness and focus on each student's details is remarkable. Principal Amra exudes kindness, compassion, and true commitment to the prosperity and well-being of the students. Under her guidance, the overall ambiance of the school has significantly improved. Students feel valued, supported, and a sense of belonging to a united community. Principal Amra has created an encouraging and nurturing environment where everyone's voices are heard and respected. Her unwavering passion for education can be observed through her interactions with both the staff and students. Sward Elementary is fortunate to have such an exceptional figure leading them!

Excellent school with caring teachers and principal. The curriculum is excellent and meets my children where they are, pushing them to excel even if they are already ahead. I found the nurse to be very caring and sensitive to the needs of the student. excellent PTA and school activities.

The teachers are great, the curriculum is excellent, and my son has been very happy there until the last couple of months. My son has eczema and is under a doctor's care. The school nurse continues to call, harass me, and claim I am doing nothing for my child. This week it was suggested I NOT send him to school until this is "under control." You think a nurse would know something about this. It's pretty awful that your medical staff is harassing parents of the students. It is enough to make me pull my child out of Sward. I hope someone looks into her conduct and no one else has to go through the belligerence I have had to. Thank you for your time.

Sward is mostly populated by students from caring and involved families;thats part of what makes it such a great place! When both the family AND the school faculty are involved, success is available to any student. This school, its faculty and principal are exceptional individuals who are great at giving kids the tools they need for success. Principal Gloodt seems to know all the kids by name and is very involved in the day to day operations of the school. The teachers Ive had the pleasure of interracting with seem genuinely invested in their students success. I am very pleased with my students experiences at Sward.

Great school with a demanding work load for the kids balanced by positive caring professional teaching staff. This school has a strong no-nonsense principal and provides a great learning environment for all the students.

Both of my girls attend Sward Elementary. My oldest started out in private school so I was not sure what to expect when she transferred to a public school. I have been more than pleased with the quality of their education.
