After a couple of years of getting picked on & nothing being done about it ,My children are forced to defend themselves against other kids. The principal acts like she completely understands where you're coming from when there's an issue but yet there is no consequences for the student who is always fighting and bullying my child, but instead take recess from my child to prevent him from getting hit! No fair at all!!! She does not know how to handle a situation at all ,the rules in this school need to be reinforced. Also they are a few teachers here who a very mean to the children , I've witnessed it with my own eyes and my children have come home crying because some of these teachers (especially ) the gym teacher ) are very mean, they shout in the children's faces, embarrass them and have threatened to call the cops if the children didn't behave ! It's a shame that we moved out of the city to Oakforest so our kids could have the opportunity to go to a better school and now we're looking to move again because of all that goes on at this school .
