This school is fantastic in many ways. There are many teachers that care about the students and the administartion will take the time to figure out solutions for whoever needs them. The college preparatory level is high for those who choose the higher track courses, though obviously not all students are on that level. All students who are interested graduate ready for college and the acceptance rate is high and both top-rated national and local schools. For students with greater academic strength, the school has had many graduated who attended colleges and universities at the highest levels and attained graduate and post-graduate degrees, including at Ivy League schools. Most students I know of attend college of some sort, achieve a degree, and find well-paying jobs. Most students go to religious seminaries and find that their academic knowledge is similar to that in all other students from across the US.Those of lower academic interest or capability are accomodated and thrive in the school as well and speak positively of their experience there.Having attended summer camps, seminary, college, and graduate school, I spoke to many people about their high school years and while many complain about it and were happy to close that chapter, graduates from Beth Jacob of Miami praise their positive experience in high school.Note: Having attended Beth Jacob of Miami, this review is from my personal experience. I am not an employee of the school. I took the time to write this review seeing a couple of the negative reviews most likely left by disgruntled students or parents. Every school has a few of those. No, there are no professional sports teams etc. as in all other Beth Jacob type schools, but there are many opportunities for non-academic students to thrive and excel.

This school was not made to help girls excel and succeed in life. They have a very narrow view on the world and only than if you fit their criteria will you have a chance to do well, but you will still most likely not be prepared for the real world and your learning in bais yakov will certainly not help you to get into a university

If you fit this school's narrow world view, you may excel and love it. But if you have hopes of going to a decent university, this is not the school for you. The school actively discourages students from pursuing a good higher education and finding a fulfilling career. If your only goal in life is to find a husband (or son-in-law), this is the school for you. The secular curriculum is acceptable, though lacking compared to any public school. The choice of extracurricular activities is pathetic. You can do community service or participate in the school's annual production. That's it. No music, no clubs. The school only offers the minimum state mandated PE, so there is no physical activity at all past 10th grade.
