Excellent School! Amazing teachers who actually care about each and every child. My children moved here and I am so very pleased. The community has no idea how lucky they are to have such an amazing amount of qualified teachers who go out of there way to teach all children.

This is an excellent school in every way! The teachers are awesome and friendly. Students are challenged at their level and higher level skills are expected of all students. I imagine any complaints come from unhappy people living unhappy lives. You are lucky if you child gets to go to school here.

My children spent several years in the school and suffered setbacks in their education and were tormented socially. The school caters to the lowest performing students in the class, while the typical or advanced students sit and read books all day. The children who are bullies (physical, sexual and emotional) are not seriously reprimanded and are allowed chance after chance to continue doing the same thing. The teachers are nice, but have little to work with student-wise. The School Board is not interested in preparing the children for JR-SR High School or college. Find another alternative. The school is not meeting state testing standards, and haven't for years, despite best efforts of teachers and parents.

Do your best to find an alternative if you can, although there aren't many options in this small town. Average to above-average kids are chopped liver here--the school admin only cares about getting the low scorers up to passing the SBA. This emphasis skews the entire ethos and learning standards are very, very low--one to 2 years behind other public elementary schools. Rotating admin doesn't help either. Sorry, folks.
