This school has down to earth teachers who truly care about their students. They all pitch in and support the kids lifting them up and boosting the morale. The teachers work hard to ensure that students get what they need, understand the lectures and learnings and are always there for them when help is needed even on the weekends! I’m amazed by the caring and personable factor here. The principal, Mr. Pruett, is at every single event we’ve been to. Pretty devoted.

The extent of bullying is horrid, I attended OHS for a few years, I've seen kids get followed after school & beaten bloody.Even when the situation is brought to light, Nothing's really done about it.Never could I learn in this environment.

There is a lot of bullying at this school. Staff didn't do much about it. I was accused once of stealing laptops. I never stole a thing. There ARE a few teachers that care. I'll admit. One took time to help me pass.

Imagine being bullied to an extent that you are Fearful to even show up to school anymore, & When you go to the school for help. Nothing is done, Yet the abuse continues, No Class switches. No Help. Nothing. This remains the worst school ive ever had the pleasure of attending, If i could change my past this would be the First thing id change, The only solution for ORESTIMBA was to remove me & Send me to Foothill High, Where I was bullied even worse. And people wonder why education has gotten so terrible. There was some Decent Teachers, (Note 'Some') Yet the way the school handles students and Allows abuse is astounding. Id never let my child go there.

Worst possible school to Allow your child to attend. From Experience, Id never allow my child to attend this "School" Nothing was done when someone is bullied for no real reason, Many students lose motivation, are verbally and physically abused and NOTHING was done, as I said, I know from experience. Worst school in the history of schools, When Instead of helping the student being Bullied. Nobody can learn anything under fearful conditions, The exact fearful conditions this school ALLOWS.

Terrible school, principal and staff have an aleatist attitude and will not work with parents or students to resolve an issue.. The mentality is to treat the high school as if it is an institution or correctional facility, herding the masses in one door and out the other just because it is easier for them. If the student did not learn anything here it is the students own fault, In my opinion that is not what teaching is all about. When I voiced my opinion with the principal and a counselor about their teaching practices and attitude twoards the students, the pricipal did not want to hear it, so he restricted me from the campus for one year. My son graduates this year. Their policy is Omit rather than Commit and Exclude rather than Include. Like I said, "Terrible School".

Terrible School. I attended Orestimba for three years after a freshman year at Patterson. Since I've graduated, I have been around the country meeting people who have had much better of an experience in their native public education system. Their arts, sports, and other extracurricular programs exceeded Orestimba's in every way. The standard academic challenges are short of others. Good grades are far to easy to get at this school. I honestly believe the better universities do acknowledge students here because they are not given the opportunity to prove themselves more acceptable than other and much finer schools.
