  Buckley is terrible academically-sports eats up half of every day's schedule. If the school was ever any good it is no longer...mostly sibs and legs so not always the sharpest kids.

  Buckley is a great school but not for everyone. The traditional part is that every boy: 1. must play a sport 2. must be in the school play each year 3. must participate in public speaking We find this GREAT bc it builds character and forms a cohesive student body that extends well into adulthood. Ask a 30 year old Buckley boy who is closest friends are and at least a few will be from his Buckley days. Also, the placement into high schools is one the best in the nation. Lastly, over 40% of alumni give each year back to the school, also one of the highest in the nation. that means the school did something right when they were students. Parents who are looking for a more progressive school might not like the structure here, but for those who do, their children thrive.
