    I have 3 kids at Coteau Elementary. We absolutely LOVE it! The bus driver greets them with a smile every morning, they enter an environment where they feel safe and acknowledged as individuals. The teachers, secretary, para, lunchroom staff, janitors and most parent volunteers know all of the kids by name. This school is like one big family.

    This school is a close community within itself. The students are happy, the teachers are happy, and students are learning more than what I learn. The staff teaches morals and acknowledges/rewards students who display high morals.

    Since Ms. Roberson has been at Coteau, the school has done a complete 180. She has brought family values back to Coteau and has improved the learning environment tremendously. You don't hear teachers yelling at students; you see children who are excited about going to school; the principal always greets the students with a hug and a smile... I'm so grateful to Ms. Roberson for coming to Coteau. I hope she never leaves.
