I actually wish there was an option less than 1 star for most of these answers. Be prepared to get on your knees and beg for basic human decency from this school for your children. They seem to have roles reversed and think it is a parents job to do all their work and forget that us parents are the ones paying them for a service (that they seem barely qualified to provide). We will be moving because this school district is incapable of keeping my child SAFE while he is there and cannot provide him appropriate services for his disability. DO. NOT. RECOMMEND.

I have three students in the district and have continuously been amazed at how dedicated the faculty has been. They find a way to balance caring and fun with rigor and strong academics. My kids' needs vary greatly across the three of them, and each year, my husband and I are increasingly grateful our kids are being educated at Shenango. Strong academics. Character focused. A wealth of athletic and extra-curricular activities. Whether it is the office staff, administration, nurse, or teachers, our interactions are almost always positive and pleasant.

The kindergarten teachers are great. I only deducted one point because the nurse does not communicate effectively. I also had contact with the transportation department, the PTO, and the principal. All of those areas were easy to deal with and went out of their way to explain what was required of me as a parent.

well another school year is coming up and i hope my child gets a decent teacher this year. the last couple have been a joke. the principal is all smiles and clueless. the nurse? well lets just hope your child doesn't get hurt cause she is horrible. all she is good for is giving out ice for headaches and sore throats...seriously??? your main medicine is ice? it's time for this new superintendent to clean house.

shenango lacks the facilities that the other district in the area have, the school has one gym available to use and this causes kids to have to cram in athletics before 6am or later in the day, they need another gym to relieve the pressure on the sports and the students participating.

I love this school they have always been great and my son has always had wonderful teachers,except for one year!
