So good You all should send your kids here amazing the teachers are so respectful and not racist at all. I feel like when my son graduated he was smarter and was safer then he was at any other new Britain school like diloreto or Pulaski

It would be great if you would answer the phone. You call me 3 times a day to inform me that my child is absent when I’m aware of it before you are but I can’t contact you to inform you that he will not be attending. You don’t even have voicemail. What type of business are you running???

Slade overall is a bad school. First off we have rats. Yes rats. I've seen 2 of them. Also in one of our classes a rat died. We see bugs like centipedes roaches and silverfish. People make out in the bathrooms which makes me and a lot of other people really uncomfortable. And also speaking of bathrooms the ones on the top floor [where the 6th and some 7th graders are] are locked so if your on the top floor and you need to use the bathroom you have to walk down stairs to get there. Plus they lock all the bathrooms in the school at the end of the day. The text books are ripped up broken and old. Chromebooks have lost keys and some are mixed up and/or don't work. And there was that one time when the cafeteria ran out of food. And it happened on the first lunch wave. But the food tastes like burned deep fried cardboard anyways. Some of the teachers are really only there for a paycheck. One of the teachers i have is really mean to the students. Especially kids who need to use the bathroom. Especially girls with their period. Which is really messed up. Kids fight all the time. Sometimes arguments. Sometimes fist fights [which can sometimes get really physical] and once again it makes me and some people uncomfortable. One time i went outside for a class and everyone had to go back inside because a fight started. I've seen girls drag each other by the hair. We also have cursing children [its common in a lot of places but still]. A lunch lady stole my money once. I've met people with really bad depression issues and the condition of this school [and obviously the students] make it worse for them I'm not writing this review to be a bad kid. I'm just writing this because it's the actual truth. I might have missed some points but oh well. If you can find a way to not have your child [or children] go to this school. Use that way.
