When I went to New Boston Elementary School, I loved going. They make you feel like you're a bad parent when something goes wrong that's out of your control. The school will be little you and the Nurse will call you a bad parent. The principal they have now is terrible, I would rather have anyone else then who they replaced Mr. Bush with. The nurse at the school is not a people person at all. My daughter fell off the playground equipment and nothing was done at all. The Hospital and her Dentist couldn't figure out how it happened either. My son most days refuses to go to the school because he hates it. The school when I went used to be amazing and now it's like you're walking into a prison. You say or do anything everyone thinks you have an attitude. They will give you a dirty look. The Staff is terrible, and I have been in worse schools growing up then New Boston Elementary and I would rather go back to the terrible schools then ever put up with how this school has turned out. It's sad they call this building a learning center. In my honest opinion the schools should have never consolidated at all. Maybe we would have a better faculty and wouldn't have all the issues we all have today.

This school is ran like an institution. They target low income children or any child who has not conformed to.their mold within the first 2 wks of school. They didnt celebrate holidays when we were there. They didnt want parents involved in anything it seemed like. My child was treated wonderful in pre k but when we got to kindergarten all they did was pick at her. The sent her for evaluation without my consent and they made her feel inadequate because she didn't have the routine down. They try to say kids have learning disabilities so that they can claim more state money. They only focused on the negatives of her learning. Then there was an incident where she didn't get put on her bus home it was an hour before they realized she was still in the gym. We haven't and won't be back even though we live in the district. I don't trust them.
