I am a devout Catholic and wanted that education for my children. The theology at the school is an absolute joke with the religion teacher holding only a bachelors degree and ignorant about much church dogma . Mass once per week is embarrassing as the students are often fidgety or seemingly lost.No National Honor Society or other Academic leadership groups.Drug problem.Bully problem. Favoritism from teachers and extreme nepotism in hiring and staffing.Buyer beware.Go to North Catholic instead!!!!!

The safety and well being of the students forced to walk through parking lots without jackets during all types of weather is ridiculous and frightening. Also, there is now no cafeteria service so the grade for food can not be low enough. The cost is ridiculous when there are other more local Catholic high schools with organizations such as National Honor Society or even a band. There is also no tutorial that she was offered! Not good for the students snd therefor not a fan!

Overall a great experience/great value... one recent grad; another in her second year there. Not quite sure what previous poster from two years ago experienced.. there is no drugs or etoh at school functions.. if it occurred it was in private homes. We have found administration - admission director, guidance counselor, principal etc go the extra mile for each student as needs direct. Strong math and science options. I encourage anyone to consider this school - shadow for a day. Many sporting opportunities-- past year all three of teams my daughter played all went to play-offs(volleyball, basketball and softball).

If you are considering this school, please take note of most recent reviews about this school. My daughter currently enrolled at this school and will not be returning. Huge disappointment and a mistake as a parent on my part, I should have listened to other parents reviews. Academically, my child was a straight A student, in gifted programs and now struggling with no direction in classrooms. Very poor communication from school, teachers. I appreciate the Catholic education for my child, but the academics and what the school offers for the price is a big disappointment. Athletics at this school are a joke. Drug problems prevalent, troubled kids as well. And although this may be true for any school, I expect far more structure, and substance for the cost of this school.

Our child attended here only one year and did not want to return for several reasons but the main reason was the teachers and their advanced ages, lack of enthusiasm (emails not returned, teachers leave classes unattended, teacher fell asleep in class, and the overall environment of control and dictatorship style of the principal. the lack of clubs was dissappointing (no Spanish, Key, National Honor Society, clubs). The school constantly asks for more $ all of the time (after paying $8,000 for tuition). Almost the whole administration is related- a nepotism nightmare. Plus, we had a serious safety issue involving a student that was kicked out but this school places reputation above safety. I was warned from other parents that there was a lot of "fluff" at this school and I should have heeded the warnings. Avoid this school unless your child is a social misfit and can't handle the real world. They act all academic but will admit any student and cash their check.

Poor leadership, poor planning, teachers who show favortism, and poor communication all plague this school. Drug and alcohol use is prevelant at school dances, and there is no real sports teams. There is a constant request for money at every turn, and the academics are not at a college prep level. This school is not a good value for the tuition that you pay----stay away.
