This school has nothing but make my child feel like he nothing and dose not want to help him all they care about is what make them look good if your child dose not Met there standers in learning or if they are . A iep or need more help than other kids. They also don't really do iep meet either bc when call for one they took 6 month before they get u one bc they say not everyone here or like I was told they didn't even know who it was or even meet them and my child has had a iep for 3 year now they will push then a side and only want to help the kids that make them look better they . The schhol Faculty and staff and some techer they don't really want to work with kids who need the extra help and all they care about is if your child is there to make them self look good they don't even want ur child to go to the doctor appointment or therapist or other special doctor appointment dear the week they want u to change them and when u say u can they say will ur child need to be here and not there u need to get there appointment later or wait on them they just at the kids as money sign that all there worried about they really don't care about the kids there

Investment in Hobgood's STEAM curriculum is great and the school utilizes the latest technology to assist with learning. Teachers recognize different learning styles. Intervention is applied across the board where students fall behind academically and behaviorally. Teachers keep in daily contact with parents. Students with disabilities like ADHD are accommodated not punished. The school is overwhelmingly serving kids in poverty, but they still have fantastic programs to keep kids engaged and help them excel. FREE hot breakfast and hot lunch for EVERY STUDENT. Great afterschool program with ESP.

Hobgood has been very good and my daughter has great support from her teachers!

My children have attended different schools in different states due to moving and I have worked in and with several different schools. This has been by far the absolute best school my children have ever attended. I wonder what is being used to calculate that score of 5. It's way off base if you ask me. I have a 21 year old child so I've been dealing with schools for a long time.

PTO PARENT: These scores have to be wrong and need to be recalculated. Our school was the only school that received all A's on our scorecard. Our principle is awesome and takes time out with staff to get to know the students and plan for that particular need. I wanted my kids to go to a private school but my husband and I can not afford it. I feel that Hobgood is the best public school for my kids. They challenge students and majority of the students were receiving awards for academic achievement. I am proud to be a rocket!!
